Miranda looks absolutely stunning in the above screenshot. Strahovski is pretty as well, though I seem to be the only one who finds character more attractive than actress.

No you aren't. I appreciate Yvonne Strahovski, and her appearance in ME2 has made me follow what else she's doing, but you won't find me in any of her fan forums. I'm here for Miranda.

Yeah, same with me. After several 2 ME2 playthroughs I got hooked on Chuck, and it's been tiding me over until I'm both back with my gaming rig (traveling at the moment, with only my laptop) and LotSB comes out.

I didn't mean it that way. I follow what she's doing, but not necessarily watch it. In fact, I hate "Chuck", but I'm curious about "The Killer Elite", which I probably wouldn't have known was in production, nor cared about, if not for Strahovski.

I wish they'd make some kind of a micro-series focusing on Miranda. Every week for a few months, release an episode no longer than, say, 8 minutes or so. Just something to explore her character some more and hopefully thus hint at what we'll see in ME3.

Bah. They'd make her too Paragon. Or make her a villain. I trust book authors more, writing a book doesn't cost as much money as making a TV show, so authors can get away with characters not exactly in the mainstream where TV can't. Not that I'd want Karpyshyn to write Miranda. He'd totally ruin her.

A microseries, DLC. I'd take anything of good quality. As for Miranda vs Strahovski, Miranda is closer to my physical type. It takes more for me to notice a woman is attractive as well.

I have a question to leave you with for the night:

Which author would you want to write a story about Miranda? Who do you think could do it? And why?

I'll post my answers tomorrow. Good night.

Hmm... The Killer Elite? Interesting. IMDB comes through again - will definitely keep an eye out for that. Nice! :o

The episode I just watched really pissed me off :(  I must know how they get themselves out of this one...

I love the show and I'm very happy it's coming back soon.

EDIT: Not pissed off anymore

I'm boarding a boat for a vacation in 4 hours and now I can sleep easy. It is now ok to be without Chuck and especially this forum for the next week.

That was a quiet night. Let's see if I've got screenshots not already posted a hundred times....

I think Aeia's lighting is good for her ;). Too bad the native biochemistry isn't, LOL.

I think Karen Traviss would do a good job of it - for the simple reason that she can write morally complex characters well - she seems to enjoy writing characters who are complex and occasionally morally ambiguous.

I didn't think of her, but yes, I believe she could do a good job of it. I've enjoyed her "Tales of the Wess'har Wars" very much, but didn't read any of the SW and games-related stuff.

Still, she'd not be my first choice. I was thinking of two others: first, Celia S Friedman. She can get into character's minds very well and can also write convincingly about complex and morally ambiguous characters, as shown, among others, in her Coldfire trilogy and the current Magister series. Second, there's George R.R. Martin, who I have long admired for the way he portrays almost any character in "A Song of Ice and Fire": completely without judgment. There's no prevailing ideology in his books, except in the characters' minds. He's one of very few who can convincingly write in a way that leaves things to the reader's judgment.

I've read a chunk of her games/SW stuff, but not the Wess'har, and I enjoyed them quite a lot. She certainly does provide a different view to things in the SW world, especially when it comes to Jedi/Force stuff.

I was surprised at how little Miranda had to say on Aeia. But then, neither Jacob or Miranda had much to say on each other's missions.

Nice screenshot. I always thought Miranda and Jacob should have a lot to say during each others' loyalty mission, as opposed to just Jacob's debrief. They're former lovers and colleagues. They should have a lot to say to and about each other.

So far, I've enjoyed reading it. Keep it up! It's a different outake and you're treading on dangerous ground, so, be careful!

I didn't think Miranda on Aeia was as bad as Jacob on Illium. At least Miranda gets the standard lines that every other companion gets. With Aetia we also get that little part at the end where Miranda reveals her involvement. It may be that she was deliberately avoiding saying much because she understands how sensitive a subject Jacob's family is.

Jacob's complete silence was more puzzling. I can't even think of an explanation for that.

Typical. I got my PC copy of ME2, but I can't get it to work. It installed and patched fine, but crashed the moment I clicked play on the launcher.

Does it pop open a error message or something? And if you can, try printscreening it and posting here. Maybe I can help you.

Just "Mass Effect 2 has encountered a problem and needs to close." Drivers are current. Closing the antivirus program doesn't seem to help either.

Try this, if not, contact EA Support, they are usually fast at solving game-related issues.

My guess is the sound driver, try to update the new version if you can.

Reinstalled the game and it works beautifully. Still playing around with gibbed and am in the process of downloading CN freebies. Soon, I'll be getting Kasumi and will be able to hear "be gentle with her" for myself. More stuff like that for the romance, please Bioware.
