I noticed you put xenophilia as something you didn't want and wouldn't write though. So absolutely no human/alien relations for you? Is it a taste thing, or a plausibility thing?
For me, I don't really care for it but it's a plausibility thing. I find the idea that humans would be anatomically compatible with aliens ridiculous. We're not even really anatomically compatible with most animals on this planet. What are the chances fem!Shep and Garrus could work? If someone can write a compelling story that stresses the relationship side more than the biology side though, I can live with a human/alien pairing.
You really haven't noticed any of the countless rants I've posted about this? Plausibility is my issue as well, and for exactly (!!!) the same reason you mention, except that it not only affects physical compatibility, but sexual attraction in the first place. Since as a rule, we aren't even sexually attracted to any other species on Earth, and very likely wouldn't be even if they were intelligent (or could you imagine being attracted to a gorilla?), it's silly to assume this would be anything but an extreme minority taste among species from different star systems. I have no problems with platonic relationships of any depth.

Edit: BTW Ieldra, I finished reading over your chapter and sent it back via email.
Thanks a lot. Comments are appreciated. There is a serious misunderstanding in the second paragraph I need to work on, apart from that, many things are language issues - apparently I know enough not to be technically wrong all that often, but not enough to see how the flow of words will get across in some places. Would you be willing to continue this for my next chapters?
