She comes off as an overdramatic teenager with no impulse control and hair trigger temper. The whole thing came off as a lame attempt to make her "badass." Miranda has one or two cringeworthy lines, but nothing nearly so terrible.

It's just Miranda. You have to be a bit daring.... Don't tell me your Paragons don't have enough Renegade in them for this.

The kiss really works because she's flirting with you and egging you on. Normally, this kind of thing comes off as borderline sexual harassment, but it came off as genuine teasing and verbal sparring enjoyed by both sides here.

Because I was trying to find the Miranda thread and found the old one had not been responded to in three days and thought the Miranda party on the board was dead.
