I've done directing work for ADR (voice recording) sessions, and I can tell you that it's very likely Strahovski will come back. She will have signed a contract and if Bioware is a company with any business sense, it will definitely include ME3 in the clauses. From my experience, that line is probably something that was taken off the cutting room floor. A contract is purely for business purpose, but there is also professional courtesy involved. And it would be pretty rude to make a VA come in for 10s of voice acting work unless it's absolutely crucial.

@Elyvern - There's a round 3? The only glimpse of Jacob I ever saw in the vids was the first time with him doing situps in the Normandy armoury.

That's round 1. There are 3 rounds all together. Just leave and come back immediately (unlike the investments) and the vids will cycle over. 

they just recycled the line from the main game - i'm 99% sure of it, anyway ('cause when she said it i immediately thought i'd heard her say it before).

I agree once again with Jebel, you can't just take some parts of the dossier as canonical and dismiss others.



I think that as far as current understanding of medical technology goes it isn't curable, but fortunately we're talking about Miranda who's smart enough to do something else that should be completely impossible.



Perhaps current understanding of her infertility is that while treatment is possible, there isn't any guarantee of it being successful and could actually do more harm than good.

Haven't read all fourteen chapters yet, but so far it looks good. Regarding your idea about femShep getting Miranda pregnant... By "wasn't her choice" do you mean Miranda's impregnation is accidental or non-consensual? By the 22nd century, I wouldn't be surprised if the technology exists to create artificial sperm and implant them with genetic data, thus allowing lesbian couples to procreate "naturally" but doing this accidentally seems implausible.

In regards to Miranda's dossier: (one of the better ones I think...)

I thought her approach to obtaining a child was well written (comical on a superficial level... touching on a deeper level)). She is so cold and straight-to-business... and like her dad, was approaching offspring with a very calculated manner. In a way, she is becoming what she hated in her dad. Very tragic really.

Ironically... she may need to clone a child to reproduce. This became all the more facinating given the changes in personality she takes through ME2 (with her sister, and the LI if you go there). On the one hand she is an ice queen, yet she desires family and someone to love and care for (even if sshe goes about it in a very cold way on the surface).

This may be off the topic, but I have to say that I like the discussion with Liara, about Miranda. I wonder. whether it is only for Miranda, or will this discussion happen for every LI?

I meant that due to experimentation that Shepard did not consent to, Miranda got pregnant after...well...you know. And neither knew that Shepard could impregnate other women till Miranda did get pregnant, but Miranda IS willing. That's all I'm saying since I don't wanna spoiler my own story.

This is just to inform everyone that I'm on vacation for a week. I'll probably have net access down there, but I don't know yet, nor do I know how good it will be. I'll use the days to write fanfic and otherwise do nothing much but sit at a beautiful lake and enjoy the scenery.

Currently in the works:

"Operation Sunrise" - chapter 3 of Promethean Legacy,
wherein we'll come to know how Miranda feels about killing in cold blood, and how she gets Oriana out of her father's HQ. Farewell scene with Niket might be included.

"Masks and Mirrors",
wherein 28-year-old Miranda and 22-year-old Lt. Shepard infiltrate the same event and meet each other for the first time. This one takes the class name "Infiltrator/operative" more literally than the games do.

So...see you some time. May be tomorrow or somewhen next week, or if things are really bad, on the 19th.

I think it might have to do with the two characters not really competing as LIs. It's sometimes hard to be a Tali, Jack, AND Miranda fan because they all seem to be competing for Shepard's (and our) attention in ME2. It's sometimes hard to like Ashley and Miranda too because they're very different characters in terms of some of their views and ideals. This latter case applies to me.

If Miranda's romance was poorly done, then tali's was at the bottom of the trash heap. Tbh, all the romances just felt rushed in ME2. Miranda's was tied with Jack's in terms of character dev. As for the robot chicken, what character are you talking about?

Well, generally most Miranda fans are male. That fact you wrote a Miranda/Male!Shep short romance story that contained no sex should have been a tipoff though . I wonder what the breakdown is amongst hardcore fans. Physical appearance can only keep you devoted to a character for so long before someone more attractive comes along.
