In the interest of getting us away from that pic...
How would you like Miranda to return in ME3? Shepard is probably going to be reset again, as well as separated from the crew. So, under what circumstances should the reunion take place?
Hmmm as soon as possiable really, but saying that i really am intreasting in how there gonna pull a 'ME2' all over again.
But seriously its the last game if there gonna replace all the squad with new characters again and Cameo the ME2 squad its totally gonna ruin the ME3 experiance for me personally.
I read this interview with Casey and he made a good point by saying that meeting cool new characters is part of the experience. But, like Tali and Garrus in ME2 I think Miranda is one that will return (probably one or 2 others, my money's on Thane) to Shepard's squad in ME3. Yvonne Strahovski was kind of a commercial move I think, they'll want to keep her and she'll want to have a prominent role. She just doesn't seem to be like 'Yeah I love Mass Effect, you guys are the best, do whatever you want with Miranda I'm in!' but she'll want this to be something new for her career, she won't be shoved aside. She does care and does like Miranda as a character, she seems to be enjoying it enough to do another full game and story with Miranda. They're bound to be paying her quite a lot, probably more than the average VA. Add to that that Bioware already put a lot of effort into her and made her an accessible character from the get-go but still left a huge amount of room for development, I think she'll play an important part in ME3 anyway, I expect her to be a squadmate. This may not have that much to do with Miranda and more with Yvonne, Bioware and the franchise, but I think it realistic.
For me, Miranda is definitely the number 1 on the list of characters I want back, from both games. I think they're going to bring back more old characters, but also increase the number of possible squadmates. I think it would be coolest if we run into her while her and Shep's missions collide or something, and she'll agree to go with you (for the sake of gameplay, her mission will have to be completed too of course). Because we don't have any details yet, I really can't say that much about her recruitment, Bioware is going to top any idea I come up with anyway:p
Whilslt reading this it is apparent that you are correct on many things and puts my mind at ease that Miri will be in ME3, however there is still a part of me that is worried she'll be cameoed.
