Samara's is comedy gold. She and Miranda do make an effective team, though.

There are times when the combination of her outfit and camera angles made me uncomfortable. The black isn't too bad, but the default bothers me occasionally.

They wanted to make it sexy... but it ended up funny.

Sixth Goul, I mean that if her sex appeal is ratcheted up so that it's her dominant characteristic I will be angry. I want for her outfit to be more practical and the camera angles less blatant I don't want her to lose her competence or for her life to revolve around Shepard, especially romanced Shep..

I want her outfit to be just as practical as everybody elses....which is to say not practical at all.  I would like some armor for her missions though.  In the proper Mass Effect aesthetic of course.

(1) Halfway believable space suits and helmets when in space. The one Shepard has in the intro is good. Helmets may be transparent, though.
(2) A civilian outfit that, while sexy, does not look like it was painted on her skin.
(3) A regular mission outfit that protects somewhat, and doesn't look as if was designed to let bullets through. Not real armor for Miranda, though. She has her biotics for protection.

Not sure why she would lose her competence or why her life would revolve around Shepard anymore than Garrus' or any of the other companions would.

You're not sure? Happens all the time to female characters in fiction. As soon as they fall in love they also start to fall over their feet in all areas where they'd been competent before. Should that happen to Miranda, she would not be Miranda Lawson anymore. I'm reasonably confident that it won't, though. Her competence is too much a part of her character template.

I mean ultimately he is the hero of the game so he should be doing most of the work.  Having NPCs do the heavy lifting is a serious game design flaw.

Miranda came across as very competent in ME2, didn't she? And wasn't the balance between her and Shepard very much OK? I only want that pattern to continue.

This is nice. I see you also played with Miranda and Legion in your squad. Most fitting: a Cerberus operative and a geth. And my two favorite characters.

....and I started yet another ME2 game. Noticed that I didn't have a maleShep who didn't romance someone in ME1. So, to make sure that Miranda will be one Shepard's true and only love in one game at least, I'll have to replay my main maleShep. Grr...this was difficult with all the cheated early recruiting to get Legion to Tali's loyalty mission.

Funnily enough, I just started a new ME game with the express purpose of having a single Shep for Miranda.  I'm hoping I'll warm up to her romance this time.

I'll have to replay ME1 too, but there is an another way : you can play a new game without importing a save, the default shep have no romance.

I assume you have to start a new Mass Effect one game? If so I'm sorry for  you leldra2, did the illogical nonsense of calling it cheating get you to? If so, it a shame I had to start over on three of my own Shepards.

No...a Shepard who didn't go through ME1 doesn't feel quite real to me. I replayed my main Shepard from Virmire where I always have a save at the decision about who dies, to the end. Only takes an hour or so if you take the fastest way everywhere. Then imported, and also turned him into an Engineer this time. Sentinel wasn't as much fun to play.

@Sixth Goul:
You read the answer. I always keep MANY saves of all my characters. And yes, the nonsensical "cheating" talk makes me angry.

I wish you success in this. :) I think the romance fits her character. It adds to the experience. But I already said that yesterday...

I do hope so, Ieldra. I feel like the odd man out. If not, I still love her, and I still have my mental alternate universes where she's paired with other people.

I'll leave for the night, and leave you with a question: how, do you think, would Miranda and Kaidan get along? I think there is a potential for friendship, if they can get over their dislike of each others' employers.

Good night!

Aye there was, unfountnatly i missed it aswel:(. However this gif will be my new troll slayer, yay:wizard:.

@Ieldra, goodnight, and to answer your question it is much like you said i think that maybe there is a small chance for a friendship but i think getting past each others (former)employers may be a problem, i think Miri would be able to see past Kaiden's alliance attitude given time, but i think Kaiden may have real problems getting past Miri's cerberus background, if at all, i also belive Ash would act similarly to Kaiden in this.

I see the potential for friendship, even romance, there. They're both highly competent professionals. They both keep to themselves. Kaidan appears mild, but is deadly in pursuit of his mission or in defense of those he loves. I think she'd get that. I can't comment on the employer thing because Miranda resigning is hardwired into my few of what "really" happened.

Mass Effect 3 pulls in over 1,000
variables from Mass Effect 2
http://www.joystiq.c...-mass-effect-2/

We'll
have an interview with Mass Effect chief Casey Hudson for you
soon,
but we wanted to give you this interesting little tidbit from the
interview.
Hudson says, "We're pulling in probably over a thousand
variables
from Mass
Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3 if you're importing
your
save game."

It's an impressive number to be sure, but
keep in mind, they're not all
reality-shifting choices. For example,
Mass Effect 2 is
slightly
different depending on what advice you give to Rebekah
Petrovsky
regarding her baby (remember her?). So maybe not 1,000 earth-shattering
variables.

Just pulled this off of the wonder that is the internet, Hmmm thats alot of variables, let alone combinations, now i wonder how this boads for keeping our fav. superspy being as a squadmate and LI, what do you think?

Don't be fooled VampireCommando, don't forget what Bethesda said about the multiple Fallout 3 endings. Or Lionhead adding grow trees and children growing to teenagers.Bioware is no different.

What is it with all the trolls lately?

I've been working on a little project in an attempt to get my creative juices flowing. Should be done tomorrow and available for public consumption soon after. You guys are either going to love it or I will have finally figured out a way to be exiled from the thread.
