Btw do you think she played the femme fatal towards that guy. I would really laugh if she doomd him afterward since that is what femme fatals do right?^_^

haha yes, I can see that.  She lures her prey to her domain, has some fun and drags off his body for disection for the greater good of humanity.

:devil:

I...was more thinking about that after they had done it she left him to pay the apartment or anything like. Atleast something like that after he is saying "that b*tch" Not that she is that ofcourse;)

To play devil's advocate here: it is quite possible that the writers left the loopholes and ambiguities in on purpose, in order to leave Miranda open to a wider set of interpretations. Mostly, I doubt that, though. Considering the majority of more casual players who are not likely to put much analysis into the consistency of their game content, and likely don't know much, if anything, about reproductive medicine and the capabilties of genetic engineering as plausibly projected into a fictional 22nd century, I think it very likely that they intended the iPartners excerpt to be interpreted as "Miranda trying to get pregnant" and the infertility to be perceived as incurable. If they left loopholes on purpose, it's for people in the active community - which, being a part of that, I have no objection against. It may just be useful to be active in the fan community ;)

I'm still of the opinion, that the iPartners stuff and the medical should be analyzed in connection with the Shadow Broker's note that Miranda could be recruited for something after the Cerberus' destruction.

That's one interpretation. The only wrench is Liara is the one who sifted through the files and then re-package it for you. So we can't empirically say that the notes are in their original order as the yargh SB intended.

That's not a given. We can read the files immediately after Liara has taken over. Who says the gameplay action of activating the console doesn't translate into "making a query about Miranda Lawson"? Or the yarg having packaged things to use against your team members.

As for the tagg in her name. Since it was a secret project almost nobody knew about it so it was save to use it. I don't see miranda as someone who would put the name of the ship in her online name. How many ships do you think that are called SR2?

I would avoid using the tag *especially* because it's a secret project nobody knows about. It should stay that way, you know. Her username is most likely not meant to be taken seriously.

Uh...before you can enter the main chamber, Liara appears to you on a screen and said she set aside those files for your benefit.

Not in any different way. It won't change the infertility issue.

@Elyvern:
OK. I had forgotten that.

You know what i find intressting. After miranda chat with oriana comes the medical report. Yet miranda says that she will talk with her sister after the mission is over. It is that we can acess the files before, but otherwise i would think that she got to the prenatal care department after the mission.

You know i think the whole dossier is not meant to be taken seriously apart from the oriana chat since it only appear if you encourage miranda to talk with her. If BW doesn't mention anything about it again i think we should just see it as a joke. Which failed spectacular.

Hmmm... This actually sheds an interesting new beam of light on this whole business... I mean, Liara worked with TIM in the past, then the manipulative SOB tried to make you think he didn't like Liara at all, but then he sent you to Illium, to be welcomed by Liara there paying your docking fees &all, and eventually sent intel on the TSB for you two to get shacked up again...

And just look at the Cerberus profile there.

Success. Success. Success. Success. TIM's a smoker & a letcher.

You can't say that because there is no evidence that they are ordered chronologically or Liara could've placed them according to some arcane order.

Can I offer the following regarding the SR-2 designation. It's likely that the construction of the SR-2 began before Shepard's death. It takes a long time to build a ship like that, years at least, if not longer especially as they were working from a prototype plans, and making improvements. Which also neatly fits in with my 'high strung professional seeks sexual release' theory.

That maybe Liara never stopped working with TIM.

It would be a regular old punch to the gut IMO if it turned out that Liara was still working with TIM in ME3.

Just a quick question: given that Shepard and Miranda are together after ME3, do you think they'd ever agree to marry? I know this question is contingent on marriage remaining a common institution in human societies in ME, but I'd like to hear if you feel she's the kind of person who'll be willing to legalise the relationship.

She shows much intrest in the relationship so i think that a marriage is possible. I really hope they will marry:)

I don't think she's the type to see formalizing/legitimizing the relationship as important, no. She;d only get married if there was some practical reason to do so.

I have no problem to imagine a marriage.

Miranda and Shepard really care about each other, but I think they need time before making such a decision, especially Miranda.

I can't speak for anyone's Shepard, but I think Miranda ascribes no special significance to it and wouldn't mention the topic herself. Likely she also doesn't like the idea that her emotional commitment might lead to legal ramifications. It could go either way in the end, but Shepard would have to convince her.

I don't believe that i think miranda is very capable of bringing up the topic herself if she really loves shepard and esspecialy if she wants a family which you can she at her after she see's oriana happy with her family. Ofcourse they need talk about it first, but its not that shepard is going to have a hard time convincing her.

I think I actually agree with jtav and Ieldra in that she probably doesn't see any significance to marriage, wouldn't think it important unless there are practical considerations. And I highly doubt that the human legal system in ME would require the parental unit to be formalised for full legal opportunities on the issue of children to come into play.

But I do see a reason why Miranda may be the one who advocates it: to serve as a deterrant against the countless Asari/humans that find Shepard attractive. Posted Image

Shepard and Miranda will get married. After all, ever since Miranda fell in love with him, she isn't exactly her usual 'hi I'm an ice queen, ****** off' self, and even Kasumi says that she smiles a lot now. Besides, if she already let Shepard in and she really loves him/her, why not go all out to make him/her hers?

@godeskian

I agree with you that Miranda is a highly strung career woman seeking sexual release, but I disagree with the methods. She most likely prefers masturbation as her way of sexual release to actually having sex as being the job-focused woman she is, she knows that every hookup could lead to compromise. Also, she doesn't really like having sex with men she doesn't give a crap about, so why would she force herself to do it? Which therefore leads us to the conclusion that she doesn't get that much action(no surprise, especially considering her career and her pickiness), and she would rather masturbate herself to release, which she enjoys.
