I don't really mind if she was purposely acting to make Tali jealous for some reason. Or if it was a point in her consideration of the location. Considering the act wasn't actually in the centre of the room and more against the bulkheads, I don't see how they could actually be seen either.

Yes.

It's mentioned in her loyalty mission, Oriana was a baby when Miranda took her. It's said by the merc you can use a renegade interrupt on, Niket, and Miranda, herself, IIRC.

No there are areas in the ship where you can see the engine core, but there are absolutely no areas where you can see the engine room entrance.

Even if you could see the engineroom i don't believe miranda choose that location just to rub it in everyones face since she is not that kind of women. Plus she already has shepard and someone like miranda doesn't need to worry about losing him. My shep while always choose her over tali or jack.

You can't. Believe me, alot of us in here have ran all over the ship to check it out.

If it's just your interpretation, you're welcome. The point is too many people have used that interpretation to demean Miranda, which is why we're a bit sensitive about it.

But I still think it's not funny. I find "rub it in my rival's faces" a particularly vile character trait, which I don't like to be associated with Miranda. YMMV, of course.

Please note that attacks against other characters' fanbases can get this thread shut down, while attacks on the characters themselves, as I understand, are more or less OK. I must say I find the expression "eager chickenleg virgin" hilarious. BTW, I like Tali a lot, just not her romance.

You took one of the very best things that this site had to talk about with
others who had a lot of respect toward one another and had a mutual liking
toward a video game persona by screwing it up with such convoluted
misconception in your own distorted realm of bull**** that you feel is somehow
right and others are wrong.

 

This topic long ago was open to ideas and not centered
around one idea being right over others.

The developers of this game and those who write movies state that the people in
the story and the story itself mean different things to others no answer is
above all others.  There are right answers and wrong answers. So mine did
not happen to fall under you idiotic view of said topic big whoopee doo.

You obviously have issues with what others think or feel if you don't view it

This thread should be given back to the first two people who started this
thread long before you took over. For you have no place in acting above others
and telling them how they should feel or believe. I now can understand why
people never post in this thread anymore.

was a joke along with a picture posted back a long time ago I believe
in the 2nd thread made about Miranda how the whole crew was watching
them get it on! Big deal!

The only reason i have why she choose the engine room is that she wanted an moment with shepard alone. Thats it nothing more. Why are we even discussing this? Who cares why she chose te engine room.

The engine room never bothers me, I even think it's an original choice.

I'm glad the romance scene doesn't take place in Shepard's cabin, on a bed, like all the others romance scenes.

Its also the most realistic scene since the others start directly in shepards cabin and in miri's one shepard first walks aways from the galaxy map.

When did the Miranda thread become so oversensitive?

 

I thought the joke was funny and to be honest I believe Miranda a part of her did what she did to get others to take notice and get the crew jealous a little along with their being spy devices that could listen in on all parts of the ship but maybe not the engineering room you know?

 

So this way she gets some of the crew jealous and at the same time make it so it's not so open to the Illusive man for blacking mailing purposes later on down the road by him etc.

 

Besides if the crew blabs so be it you know?

It may all be rumors nothing more and why would the illusive man believe in rumors?

 

So the long and short of it all is why should anyone hide their love for each other if the truly care about each other right?

 

It's healthy for couples to stir a bit of jealousy up.

It keeps things vigor.

FYI what the hell does any of this have to do with Tali? You and that other kid seem to be the only two going on about Tali this Tali that maybe you two are the Tali lovers the way you both bicker about it back and forth like a bunch of sissy school girls.

Sledgehammer44mm@ He never said that your a miranda detrector, but i think he is getting tired just like me of this discussion about why miranda chose the engine room. What does it matter why she chose it? Like i have said before the only reason i can find is that she wanted to be alone with shepard. And once again miranda is not someone who see's shepard as some kind of price she has won. So there is no reason for her to rub it in people's face.

No, we do not know. We know Oriana was grown when Miranda was a teenager, and we know that she was a baby when Miranda took her away. But we don't know if Miranda's running away coincides with the latter, she could have come back later. It's a very plausible speculation, but we do not really know.

Sorry about that. It seems to be a flaw occasionally manifesting here where certain topics are touched. There was something like a cold war between the Miranda and Tali fans some time ago, and some people are still not over it. I think that many aspects of our favorite woman in the galaxy are open to a wide range of interpretations. Were it not so, we wouldn't be having debates eight months after ME2 came out.

This thread is one of the most respectful of the forum (maybe too respectful).
I've never seen character bashing here.
People should take a look in other characters threads before saying bull****s.

Personally I only speak of Miranda here, I try to avoid other characters discussions because it's not the place for this.

But this thread is certainly the only safe place in the forum for some Miranda fans, and I think they expect to be spared by other characters fans attacks.

Didn't that happen in moonraker? Regardless, I think Shephard/Miranda should have utilized those inventive uses of mass effect fields personally. My Adept and Vanguard at least did, did yours?
