The annoyance runs both ways, trust me.

Then why? Why are we keeping this discussing forever when both sides are annoyed. Nobody will change their minds.

Everyone has their limits and keeping a genetic experimentation base on living humans is her limit. Mordon help create the Genophage and he still doesn't agree with texts on live subjects.

Because it was brought up by a new poster. I'm not going to sit by and let one side of the argument go through without another side being represented.

I say that the motivational I just put up should be the standard response to this debate.

We don't have anything better to do than go round and round on the same topics. I do have a new one. What's Miranda's history with Lantaeia? She doesn't work for Cerberus, but Miranda trusts her just as much as she does Niket, or nearly so. My pet theory is that Lantaeia taught Miranda her spy skills, but this is speculation.

Could also be her PI, nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, but she's the only person besides Niket and Shepard Miranda trusts to help with Oriana. That's an unusually close relationship with a contact. There has to be a story there.

who would win when Miranda and Liara fight over Shep?

Why would they? They're grown women who like each other. I'd lose respect for both of them if they fought over Shep.

i don't think they really know each other enough to have strong friendly opinions of each other. Since my Shep is going out with both i am expecting a confrontation.

If this is post-LotSB, Shepard should be dumped by both. He's cheating. In the traditional sense of the word.

Being dumped by both? I dont think so. Neither of their morals are that strong that if her lover used to sleep with another woman before dumping that woman and going with her, that she would dump him. I think of it as "oh well he dumped her now its my turn."

But if you're stringing both along at the same time? You have to actively tell Liara you want to be with her. If you don't break things off with Miranda, your Shepard is a slimeball.

In the words of the great Bobby Brown, "I see nothing wrong in spreading myself around".  I love them both.

Im confused what you mean, stringing them both along. I havent played LotSB after cheating on Liara, so maybe Im missing something, but do I assume that she breaks things off with you after she finds out youve been cheating?

She doesn't break things off. You can rekindle your relationship, have the cabin scene, and turn around and invite Miranda to your quarters per usual.

Well if you rekindle the relationship then its your own d*** fault for not staying loyal with Miri, or your own d*** fault for not staying loyal to Liara. But to completely dump one character for another, there should be no penalty on both sides (meaning that they both wont dump you).

Oh, I agree. I think only a Shepard who's trying to have both should be dumped. Otherwise, you make your choice. LotSB seems to support this. Liara takes the news that you just want to be friends pretty well. Personally, I just avoid the whole thing and ship the two together instead of with Shep, but to each their own.

I think Lantaeia is just another contact. More detailed back story though... hmm...

Lanteia is an ex-cop on Illium who helped Miranda out of a jam years ago. She was initially suspicious due to Miranda's Cerberus affiliation, but eventually realized they were fighting on the same side and Miranda wasn't the racist she'd thought she was. Some time after their initial collaboration, Lanteia quit the Illium police because she was sick of the corruption.

Miranda, remembering the tough cop on Illium who decided to give her a chance despite a chilly initial impression, recruited Lanteia as a personal contact and helped her get set up. Now, Lanteia works as a sort of private investigator/security consultant.

Theirs is not really a friendship, but rather a relationship built on a strong foundation of mutual respect. Lanteia respects Miranda's business-like approach and willingness to go out there and put her life on the line every day, despite the lack of recognition. Miranda respects Lanteia for being willing to stand up for her principles and not turn a blind eye to Illium's shadier side like other officers.

I really tried not to rekindle the relationship but Liara was too much hotness for me.

For those curious, the Dr Pepper N American promotion is back and AriesXX7 has kindly given me a code. While looking through the redeemable items, I saw a Miranda wallpaper-- the one that has her pointing a gun at the screen (I believe Jebel linked the Russian mag that featured that pic on the cover). I chose to get the recon hood instead, but am curious if anyone has that wallpaper and is willing to share. Posted Image

For those who are interested, I posted the whole set of the Dr. Pepper Miranda wallpapers in the 'Wallpapers' discussions thread of the Miranda for romance & squadmate for Mass Effect 3! group.

Here's the Link

Thanks. Unfortunately, they've been resized, the 1900x1200 version is much smaller. Is there any way to get the original ones?

Sorry, try it now.
Click the size description. I think I fixed the problem, if not let me know.

We need a new topic on Miranda. Any ideas?

Or maybe more pics.
