Finished the game with my Renegade femShep... That was painful, only Miranda, Jacob and Jack survived. Won't do such a playthrough again.

But I noticed one thing that might shed some light on how things will be going in ME3: At the end, Shepard says to TIM something like: "Our enemies are the Reapers - if you're going on a power trip, I'll continue this war without you." I gather from that we won't be stuck with TIM in ME3 regardless of our decision about the base. What that might mean for Miranda's character development, I have no idea, but it might be that we'll have some influence on it...

To be honest I only play Renegade with a FemShep.

Bastila delivers the Renegade lines sooooo much better than Meer.

Occasionally... nothing much to say, though except what I've already posted. Apart from that, all this second-guessing Bioware about Miranda in ME3 is driving me crazy.

I don't know if i'm second guessing them but i am worried that they wil make her into a Cameo, and i'm dreading it if they do that, i really am. As all of the interviews with Casey regarding characters continueing aren't looking that promising for us or they are to vauge to be of any use to us, i mean come on lets face it they did write themselves into a bit of a difficult situation by alowing all the characters to be killed, so unles they are planning to spend major resources, time and effort i can't see them making a return for all or even most of our beloved characters. However saying that this is gonna be the last in the trilogy so i think they themselves will want to pull out everything they can, do something thats never been done before and make a true legendary game. So i'm 50/50 at the moment and i guess my heart will only be content when we have confirmation from BW themselves that everyone will be making a full return if they lived or some gameplay trailers that shows Miri and Garrus as squad mates and more of course, i guess then that i won't worry but until then, i'm gonna worry.

I've just sarted a new ME1 game. I don't know if I will be able to finish it.
The game is so boring now compared to ME2. Fortunately there is still the story.

And Miri ... where are you ? Posted Image

Now, I prefer not to think about it. It's to painful to consider a cameo for Miranda.

I think its highly unlikely they'll do cameos, given the face most character weren't in the first and if the do cameo's it would be an imbalance of character appearances. It would be a change from mediocre to excellence back to mediocrity and I refuse to romance Ash again. :crying:

Personally, I never felt that ether of the four endings indicated going or staying well the pure paragon one but not to the same extent that it should. To me all end choices only confirm that Shepard was in charge and dictating how short a leash Cerberus will get.

I wouldn't find the idea painful. I'd just miss her. It also depends on the nature and quality of that cameo. Wrex's made me like him more. It also depends on how good the new characters are. It's possible that there will be a new character I love even more. Until we know something, I'm trying not to think about ME3 too much and just enjoy my game.

Is it? I think all in all it's not. Except the sidequest locations, and it starts to show its age. But you can be through fast if that's what you want: even with everything done, it's only about half as long as ME2.

Yes....that's a big drawback. But at least you have something to look forward to ;)

I do find combat more tedious in ME, and the sidequests are not very interesting, with a few exceptions. I am having fun learning to snipe effectively, even if I haven't quite figured out how to do it on sidequest planets. I'm going for Sniper Rifle Mastery.

A few nice locations for a sniper:
*Agebinium: after defusing the bomb, stay on the ledge and shoot Haliat and his goons from there.
*Ontarom: shoot Toombs' soldiers from the other side of the canyon.
*Antibaar: sneak up into the mountains behind the geth base and...snipe the snipers in the towers...and everything else. You can also whittle down the Colossus that way. Not so much fun on higher difficulties, though.
*Sharjila: sneak up into the hills behind the pirate base and shoot everything from there (including the turrets). Re-enter the Mako several times because of the environmental hazard.

(It's outright creepy how well I know this game....)

I admint i did find the side quests on ME1 a bit boring but i didn't mind them, the only one i hated was taking out a load of geth on a planet with heavy snow fall, it was a right pain, can't remember what is was called though?

That's Antibaar. Part of the Geth Incursions sidequest.

Yes, that mispercetion is common. It's unfortunate this aspect tends to hide her true qualities. Some people never look deeper, but Miranda is indeed awesome.

Speaking of Garrus, did they get another actor for him? In the first one he sounds normal, but in the second his voice is really gravelly.

Nope its the same VA, the VA's voice actully sounds almost exactly like Garrus's voice in game apart from its been tweeked a little bit to make it sound more turian i suppose but they havent done much to it, I for one was amazing at how close the Va's normal voice is like Garrus's.

Oh okay. Tali sounds different as well, but I suppose that's because she was supposed to be kind of a child in the first one. But anyways. I'm on the Miranda loyalty mission atm.
