I guess it's from LotSB, when Miranda stands up after the fight is won. The back wall is too near for it to be from the CB fight.aeetos21 wrote...
man these are all nice, im trying to figure out where hooaguy's screenshot is from. not when the platforms are collapsing is it?
And yes, we have a nice collection of fan art and screenshots on this page. The one you posted above is also one of my favorites.

So no, I would not describe her as broken. Not even as "damaged" or "self-loathing". I would say she has a few problems with the way she perceives herself, but not enough to give her a predicate adjective for it.

SPOILER BELOW
Tells the Illusive Man to shove it any arguments about her being damaged or broken are tossed out the window. A person that solid and together would never throw away a career job like she had with Cerberus if she was still the same Miranda we saw at the beginning of the game. She, like all the other squaddies, has a very well written story arch in which she overcomes her self doubts and becomes her own person.

In ME1 Shepard says humans are “lucky to make it to 150 [years old].” And in ME2 Miranda says that, due to her extensive genetic modification, she will likely live “half again” as long as an average human.
Does that mean Miranda can expect to live to age 200 or beyond?

Yes. "Half again" of 150 would imply 225.

That's not how I would interpret her story arc. Her loyalty isn't what holds her back. It's her problem with her origin, and that remains largely unresolved at the end of ME2. What she overcomes is her fear of making emotional connections. That's good, but not the main thing.aeetos21 wrote...

She has also always been her own person. She even says so after her LM. She was never another's plaything. She followed TIM because she believed in his cause. The feeling that her accomplishments are not her own because of her genetic engineering, that remains unresolved.

Thanks! That's what it sounded like to me too.
I just wasn’t sure if Shep’s “150 year” figure, about twice the modern western lifespan, was so high because of some of the same modifications Miranda had. I thought there was a possibility of some overlap in the life-extending genetic modifications category.

I agree with the story arch, but I don't think she's broken. She has changed, that's all. Like Liara says : Shepard changed her, but to me she realized many things herself, and the fact that she resigns even if she's not loyal proves that she's an intelligent and independent woman who can make the right decision in order to not betray her real convictions.
