No. In fact I'll add to the complaints every single time. On missions, she needs something that looks at least somewhat like light combat armor - and a damn helmet plus an outfit that covers everything on space missions.

Yeah, I agree it's a bit silly that she wears that cat-suit on missions.  That's why one of my favorite lines in the game is when Enyala says to Miranda "I was just waiting for you to finish getting dressed, or does Cerberus really let you **** around in that outfit?"

And Jack? She carries even less and I see no one complain on her? Is it cause she do not have the "looks" so its not worth complaining on?

Or why Garrus seemingly carries a broken armor the whole damn game.

That is as weird. But sure, she could use a spacesuit when even the Krogan covers his face fully in some enviroments.

Oh, I'd complain about Jack's mission attire, too, if I ever actually took her on missions.

In any case, I don't spend much energy getting upset about what the characters are wearing.  In the end, I understand it's a videogame.

Yes, that comment is spot-on, unfortunately. I do like the black outfit and the white isn't so bad either, but not for combat missions. She shouldn't look like Shepard, but also not as if you could peel her clothing off with a fingernail. That she wears that distracting clothing also makes her unbelievable. No character like Miranda would walk through Illium or Omega like that unless on a mission where she needs to make herself obvious and sexy to everyone. I can't imagine many missions that would require such a thing.

Something I've noticed about the "inappropriatly dressed" squadies is that the one's who aren't in full body armor have Biotics and Biotics cna generate mass effect fields to protect themselves. Samara, Miranda, Jack, Thane, and Jacob all have breather masks wher their eyes and head are exposed, but they can use Mass Effect fields to keep them safe from the vacuum. Garrus, Zaeed, Grunt, Mordin, and Kasumi have their entire body covered because they don't have mass effect fields protecting them, That's why I don't have a problem with said catsuit and it's probably made of the same thing the Asari commando's wear and they're even feared by the Krogan.

I don't like to see squadmate half-naked in combat, but it's like Miranda : I can't imagine her wearing an armor. Jack et Miranda cloths are part of the characters and fit their personality.

Besides, both are biotics. I prefer seeing them without armors which would penalize their agility for a questionable extra protection.

I can't see Miranda doing what Kelly was doing. um no. Maybe dancing with Shepard seductively. Yes!

I thought that episode with Chuck and Sarah sexting was hilarious and fun to watch.

I can't see Miranda dancing for Shepard, with Shepard on the other hand, yeah that'd be nice. Miranda "sexting" would be an intresting wrinkle to the romance, hell any LI doing that would be hilarious.

agreed it would be weird seeing them in armour, but i still think they could have given jack a much cooler out fit.

and while i've got some folks attention, im working on a shepard/miranda fanfic and am curious as to when the events of mass effect 2 tales place? i mean how much later from mass effect 1? that is when shepard gets blown up. anyone knows?

Two years after the events of ME1. ME1 takes place in 2183, ME2 in 2185.  Retribution takes place in 2186, after Shep's dealt with the Collectors.

I liked Jack's loyalty outfit, and I especially liked the alternate appearance outfit, though the visor looked a little silly on board the Normandy.  As for the outfits, I dunno, I can only suspend disbelief to a certain point.  The lack of anything resembling a hard suit for even biotic characters on levels where you're exposed to the elements (Legion's sidequest, the Collector ship, etc.) and Shep is sealed inside armor is somewhat ridiculous.

2 years had past from ME1...  It took two years to rebuild Shepard.

What I am curious to know is... the Cerberus Daily News... Is that taking place at the same time as Mass Effect 2 or is it after Mass Effect 2 ended???

well... everyone keeps saying 2 years since it took 2 years to rebuild shep, but when did the events on normandy-explosion-shep-gets-spaced happen? i've been googling it, but perhaps i'll have to play the intro again...

what i didnt like was the tummy shirt she got when she was loyal. lol

and what about their masks, made miranda look funny in the face when she wore hers.

jack's mask was way nicer. :)

On Legion's side quest you're inside a space station with no oxygen and low gravity, but you're still inside and no one knowsis the Collector's ship had it's shields up or not, but at one point you're inside, jsut like how there's holes in the Normandy's hull during the oculus fight. I'm sure Miranda's smart enough to know when and when not to be exposed to space and I'm pretty sure her suit is durable enough for combat or else she'd wear something else. She is a master tactician after all.

Not having any form of hardsuit under your kinetic or biotic barriers makes no sense. I understand the difference that some enemies wear armor to protect themselves (krogan, varren, bosses, etc) and some choose to wear less armor and more shielding (blue suns mercs come to mind here). Still if it were just biotic barriers then ok, sure, if they want to rely totally on a barrier that gets broken all the time on insanity then that's there funeral.

But no way will you convince anybody that Miranda's suit is able to be upgraded with biotic amps, improved shielding, and damage reduction underlays. That part of the Mass Effect lore does fail. When we see Shepard getting it on with her we don't see him peeling away his armor - he's already dressed in his casual. Miranda though... it doesn't make sense. I understand BW developed it to fit her character (and boy does it ever) but it has no place in combat at all. That doesn't mean they can't create an armor for people like her, Jack, Samara, Jacob, and others who will take damage in a fight (I'm less picky about Thane since he is the ninja of ME2).

Point is during seduction missions or during her offtime Miranda can wear her catsuit or whatever she likes. But in combat, design her something with a little more kevlar to it or something. That's all.

lol, i was thinking the same. realistically, how on earth would her catsuit really protect her in battle, and same goes for jack. she only has two leather strings to cover her nipples, that wont help much. and as someone mentioned earlier it looks kinda silly when shepard is all geared up with a big fat helmet next to them. no doubt Bio could have designed some cool gears for them. even Liara had proper armour in ME1 and she's a kick ass biotic.

Ah the catsuit.

It's ridiculous.

I'm just leaving it at that. Armor can be believable and very sexy. They just...chose not to. >_>

Yeah Liara had armor in me1 when she was apart of a military operation, in me2 when she's not she has a similar catsuit to Miranda's which can't be much more than what Miranda has on yet no one's complaining about that. It's all the biotics they don't need sheild generators because they have barriers there's obviously a bulletproof thread in me2 because alot of characters go into battle with casual clothes like it's nothing and they aren't harmed. Miranda gets flak for the catsuit but no one else gets flak for what they wear.

Uh...no. I think everyone's outfit is facepalm worthy with the exception of Tali and Kasumi.

Now while Thane's makes...some sense considering he's not supposed to be seen that exposed chest area is just...urgh. No I don't care what the dossier said. Silly is silly. Jack is just asking to be torn into by gunfire, Grunt has an exposed arm...why exactly? (Same with Zaeed) Garrus armor is busted and he never gets it fixed for some mindboggling reason (same with Legion I understand fixing it with the N7 armor. The least he could've done was fix it completely). Samara...yeah just a giant "AIM HERE" on her chest, Jacob's wearing a skin tight bodysuit for...the priiize? *shrugs*  (Morinth was wearing plain clothes and when she impersionates Samara has the same issue as her).

So gah.

i think pretty many has mentioned both jack and thane and samara... so i dont see how it's just miranda getting flak? i dont think the discussion is to say anyone dont like the suit, it just doesnt feel believable all the time. :)

oh and i thought that white thing liara was wearing in LoSB was an armour?
