I didn't really like Miranda when I first started playing, but after this scene in particular I really started warming up to her and she is now one of my favorite characters in the game.

She's pretty much a permanent fixture on my team now :D

LOL. Another one. That's how it seems to go for almost everyone. I wonder if I'm the only one who liked her from the start. Yes, that includes the control chip comment.

BTW, nice picture, hooahguy. Miranda looks irresistible. If only we could make her wear that dress we get with Kasumi. Only those stilettos are a crime **shudder**, and I think suits like the one Shepard wears might be out of fashion.

I initially kept Miranda in the 'acquaintance' zone at first, but always brought her out on every mission I had. Then after she opened up and admitted her origins, she was pretty much my best friend. During her loyalty, I actually fell in love with her. :P And of course, Thane. These 2 are my loves. :D

Miranda and Tali are my two favorites, and I find I like them for the same reasons: absolutely awesomely built characters, and its amazing that with one game, Miranda IMO is up to par with several characters that have so much history from ME1 into 2.

Plus, I'm also a Chuck fan. And well... her voice actress ((too tired to spell it out)) is one reason to watch that show :P

I've liked her right from the start. I came to the franchise late, so I kind of spoiled myself to the content in ME2 while playing ME1. Suffice to say once I knew a character like Miranda existed, my vision and attention just narrowed in and has remained there since. Over time, my impression of other characters have changed for the better or the worse, but even months later, my appreciation for Miranda has only gone up till no one other character comes close to her at any level.

Well, then talk to Asakawa in the Miri supporter group since she drew it.

I liked Miranda from the start. But I liked her even more after her loyalty mission and after she opened up. Then her romance and her character development made me a real fan.

I liked her from the moment she shot Wilson. He was such an incredibly obvious traitor that I was afraid that I would have to play dumb for three quarters of the game before I could dispose of him. The thing that made me go from "oh, I like you" to absolute obsession was the combination of her overwhelming love for her sister and the absolutely heartbreaking "the only thing I can take credit for are my mistakes." And then you have her hypercompetence and mixture of heroic and villainous traits. I was fascinated. Really, the only thing I don't like is the romance and that's easy enough to avoid. I can even confirm that it's possible to play MaleShep and have her never express interest in the romance.

I've always liked her, (thought the control chip comment was kinda funny) but like the most of you ^ I really came to love her character during her loyalty mission.

I'm actually doing another playthrough on ME 1 where I'm not romancing anyone and saving Kaiden instead of Ashley just to see how that affects the 2nd and 3rd game.

Just like Tela Vasir in LotSB. The first instant I saw her face I thought: "I know this Asari is bad and I will have to kill her later. Hopefully the writers don't force me to work with her . . . damnit."

But I digress, it made me extremely happy when Miranda shot Wilson. The best part is how in the conversation where we're literally standing around his dead body, she acts as if nothing at all had happened.

Yeah, I was not happy about being handed the heroic Idiot Ball where Vasir was concerned.  If I had my druthers, that knock-down drag out fight would've taken place in Liara's apartment.  I can't imagine Liara would've been too pleased with my FemShep, but it would've been pretty awesome :P

Anyway, Miranda.  I'm in the boat of people who Miranda slowly grew on.  I was so prepared to hate her   And she and my FemShep seriously did not get along.  But it's pretty incredible that even if Miranda and Shep aren't bosom friends, Miranda STILL dedicates herself 100% to the mission.  That got her so many respect points from me, and her loyalty mission sealed the deal.

Miranda comes on all my missions

Has anyone noticed, there is a crew member on your ship named "crewman daniels" (or somehting like that) he and a chick work in the enginereing area. Well anyway one time i was standing near him and he said "I'm sure Miss Lawson's uniform is very official....certiantly makes me stand to attention" and the chick goes "you're a dog" lolololol That man says what we're all thinking (well most of us)

I don't find the white outfit sexy. It's tasteless. Black is much better.

I've started a Miranda/Kaidan story in addition to my Persistence of Memory. The pair of them are going to drive me crazy, but I'm at least trying for something less angsty, with a Miranda who isn't a Broken Ace.

I didn't find Persistence overly angsty. The Broken Ace was very noticeable in the latest chapter, though.

What's driving you crazy, BTW? They are a good fit, only their loyalties will be a problem.

Kaidan and Miranda? Meh...or maybe that's my inner Kaidan bashing coming into play. Serves him right for being such a douche to me on Horizon.

I meant that working on two stories at once is going to drive me crazy. I find any time I touch on the subject of Miranda's past, that it takes a lot out of me, and Miranda has been dwelling a good bit on her past. I've actually eliminated a good bit of that from the revised version.

Their loyalties will be the problem. I'm looking forward to writing them though. They just gel so beautifully. Similar enough to get along, but with enough differences to cause meaningful conflict that won't be resolved in five minutes. It's not quite my OTP, but it's still a pretty fantastic pairing.  Miranda is one of those characters that I can see with many different people, though oddly enough, not the two men she's been canonically paired with. My feelings on Shepard/Miranda are well known and I can't see Miranda/Jacob as anything but doomed. My preferences are Kaidan, Thane, and Liara. Go figure.

XD

Poor Kaidan.  I've Virmired him twice.  Although I've liked him a lot better recently--the sooner I friendzone him and cut out the romance conversations, the less I have to worry about trap romance.  Then I can just talk to him like a human being.

I loved everything about Miranda from the start, from when Shepard first woke up to when she resigned from cerberus on the final battle against the human reaper. I also loved both of her outfits, but I'd love to see another alternate appearance pack with something new for her.
