(I do like the e-mail you get from Orianna if you encourage Miranda to go actually meet her little baby sister. "P.P.S: Stop reading the Commander's mail, Miranda.")

Happy New Year everyone. My wish for the year when ME3 comes out (hopefully): that Miranda returns with her full competence and a significant role in the ME3 plot, including lots of interaction with her, a meaningful continuation of the romance and the option to have her infertility cured.

Assuming we don't start the game with Miranda, how would you prefer for her to have spent the time between games? Under what circumstances would you like to meet her again?
Walking into my cabin and seeing her in some lovely white lingerie and...
No, no sorry. Would like to see that she has been doing research with say Mordin, researching further into the Reaper threat. It could be scientific work or something elseshe has been doing as Shepards second in command and we catch up with her fairly early in the game

actually seeing her working with Liara at our Shadow Broker base gathering intel on the Reapers would be cool too
That would be ideal! ; )
As I think that Miranda's ME3 story role; obviously providing she survived the suicide mission; will be to usurp TIM's position as head of Cerberus, I'm wondering if Shepard will reunite with her as she's being pursued by Cerberus agents. They may have to implement some form of story reason as to why she resigned from Cerberus if the Collector Base was spared, but I think that both TIM and his organisation will be adversaries in ME3 regardless. Liara could provide the intelligence required in order for Shepard and Miranda to assault Cerberus, and have the latter assume her role as the Illusive Woman.
This is all highly speculative, of course. I have absolutely no idea what they have planned. Nobody does.

After Shepard showed her the truly dark side of Cerberus, she's decided she can lead the organization better than the Illusive Man. She's been working her way into the those connections TIM had been keeping from her, and now she's ready to take him down. She could use our help.jtav wrote...

Tie-in to the main plot:
If Miranda takes over, Shepard will be able to influence how Cerberus will act in the conflict with the Reapers:
Paragon: any damage Cerberus could have done by using the Collector base in ways not conducive to the battle against the Reapers will be avoided if Miranda takes over. Regardless of the CB status, Cerberus will support the war against the Reapers in a spirit of co-operation.
Renegade: Cerberus will act more or less in the same way as under TIM.
The chance to influence Cerberus' policy will be lost if she doesn't live in ME3.

I don't think Miranda needs Cerberus. Further away from it the better. She has more skills and intelligence for other type of work. Frankly, I would rather see Cerberus go down in flames, which would probably likely be the case. I am more open to Miranda working for the Shadow Broker, Liara, and with Shepard fighting against the Reapers.

I bet Miranda would pretty darn hot in any kind of lingerie
I could see Miranda and Mordin doing research and stuff that deals with the Reapers.
I don't know if TIM would be stupid enough to send his assassin after Miranda... I think that would just ****** off Shepard. (at least it would for my "shepard") And all the more reason to take TIM out.

I just don't want Miranda to be marginalised.
I would be mortified if she were to be limited to some sort of Wrex cameo

Which role would she then have independently from Liara? I'm already miffed that Liara has got a role similar to the one I envisioned for Miranda. To have her subordinate would be the last straw. I don't mind co-operation, but I'd like Miranda to have her own power base.Mr Plow wrote...
I wouldn't see Miranda working with Liara at the SB base as being a subordinate role as such - more being an important part of Shepards small elite team or at least being a major part of a pooling of resources between 2 powerful people in Shepard and Liara
