The music for it is this:

Two Steps From Hell - Freedom Fighters

Two Steps From Hell - Undying Love

Their album (Invincible) is available on iTunes and is bloody good. If you like the music in the vid, there's more where that came from!

I've been pondering this for a while.
Does anyone think Miranda could have run the mission against the collectors as the leader while Shepard did something to help the Allaince and council prepare?

Mmm...as much as I like Miri, no.

She's badass, detail-oriented, competent, experienced, and intelligent.  She has the perfect makings of Normandy's XO.  But she's not exactly trusted or liked by the squad.  She herself says she doesn't have what Shep has--the fire that compels people to follow Shep into hell itself.  And when you've got a crew of crazies who can kill each other at a moment's notice (let's face it, most of the SR2 squad is pretty wack-job in one way or another), you need someone like Shep to hold them together.  However much they may respect Miranda's tactical prowess and dedication to the mission, they will never follow her like they followed Shep.  And on a suicide mission, that's asking for disaster.

She might be able to pull it off. Tali, Jack, and Garrus probablt wouldn't have joined, and I doubt she could have commanded Grunt's respect. She'd succeed, but only barely, and probably at the cost of the entire team.

"I don't have what you do -- that fire that makes someone willing to follow you into hell itself." - Miranda

So that's means, no.

Miranda is too insecure to lead by herself. That's whats awesome about her - as a cliff note version of what Shep says. The perfect woman is flawed. Even with Miranda :P

She'd have no problem leading the actual Cerberus crew I think (including Jacob) but that's it. She wouldn't be able to control (or possibly even recruit) Jack or Tali and I'm doubtful about Garrus.

On the Miri leading suicide mission.

Grunt probably wouldn't have obeyed her, Samara and Thane might've, Jack defintely wouldn't have, Tali wouldn't have joined, I doubt Garrus would've either, Jacob yeah she and Jacob would've worked fine, Kasumi and Zaeed might've listened to her as well (though I can easily see Zaeed doing something on his own and getting everyone but himself killed).

So...she might've been able to do it but she would've taken some heavy casulties.

You think the woman who brought Shepard back can't do it herself? Of course she can.

I would, however, vastly prefer for her to delay that until the end of ME3. And I'd prefer to have a choice about it. There can't be many things worse than having to deal with unwanted children in a video game...

I'd prefer a choice as well. If there are any pregnancies, I'll be tearing my hair out and ensuring my MaleShep stayed dead.

i'd prefer the entire, ridiculous thing was quietly forgotten as a stupid non-canonical DLC easter-egg, tbh.

As much as I'd like that, it's too late. It has too much impact on the character and people's perception of her, not to say on how they play their romances. I wonder who thought up that POS and why. Yeah, I'm getting really poisonous here - but this is nothing to what I'll say if we won't get an option to have it reversed. Without forcing any other choice on us, for instance about children.

Why couldn't they have left all that to our imagination in the first place? Why not give her some inconsequential little "fun effect" like they did everyone else? Everyone would've been happy.

I hope they never mention it again, outside of maybe a line about her adopting a child in the epilogue.

Easy for you to say. You're content with how things are. Not for me. I want a line about it being reversed in the epilogue. Or least about the possibility. A choice would be best.

Maybe not heavy casualties as such but a smaller team resulting in more casualties. Jack, Tali and Grunt wouldn't join, and she'd give Legion to Cerberus.
As for casualties: for the Collector base, since she got no multicore shielding (that's Tali's gift), Kasumi would also die and she'd be left with no tech expert, which means one additional death, meaning a maximum of 6 left for the rest of the base. The SR2 crew would also die because she wouldn't send an escort. Still enough to finish it, though, but barely.

Sorry to just jump in here, but what's the consensus on letting her kill Niket? Do you do it? Or not?

Firstly, LOL yeah thats true haha

Secondly, I agree, it should be some kind of happy ending "side" reward if you choose Miranda as an LI.

I let her kill him...because I was too slow to interrupt.  Posted Image

But I decided to leave it as it was.   He did betray her terribly but can understand others not wanting to take Miranda down that road

Just read the latest chapter in LuxDragon's Shep/Miranda story Fight for the Lost and he made an interesting point about one of the core discussion's we've been having about Shepard's potential complications given Cerberus's augmentations during the Lazarus Project, hope he runs with it.

That and if anyone feels like watching a dancing turn, lol, here's the link: Dancing Turian
