Ever heard of the KISS rule? About time people started applying that to the Miri romances in their fics.
The usual explanation I've seen is:
KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid.

Of course she's pissed off. She's looking at Jack. Shepard just let her on the ship and promised her the Cerberus data. He was bluffing, but she didn't know that.Dragonsword18 wrote...

What I don't understand is why she's so pissed. Surely she realizes with someone like Jack you need to offer something. Last thing we want is Jack poking around the files on her own. She might find something else to set her off.
she does look on file on her own ^^ i didnt let her watch

There is some visceral dislike between them right from the start. It's not just Cerberus, they're naturally incompatible personalities. She tries to be reasonably polite since she has no choice but to go along with Shepard's decision, but you notice rather well that she isn't amused to have Jack on board.Ryzaki wrote...

she have a lot of files ^^naught badass girl ^^
She only does that if you don't give them to her.
Frankly I never saw the sense in witholding them. If you're that afraid of her having that information you shouldn't recruit her in the first place. (Which I wish was an option).

Which is fine.
Though Miranda wasn't reasonably polite. At all. There was no attempt. From the jump she made no attempt to make nice (Maybe we should just knock her out, on this ship we follow "orders".) she got in Jack's face instead of letting Shep deal with it.
Edit: Didn't mean to hit submit. >_>

My guess would be biotic improvement, mobility increased, health/sheild increased.
What's your idea of her armor's stats?

This will be even more annoying with Jacob since he's there after every recruitment mission.

An equipment menu wouldn't change anything, because many missions automatically end right after the last battle. What we need is an automatic switch between casual and combat gear like in ME1.Obvakhi wrote...
I'm really starting to miss ME1's equipment menu... because when I bring Miranda in her new armor in missions like Grunt's recruitment or the Collector Ship where there's a debriefing afterwards, she'll still be wearing that clunk of metal. If Shepard is wearing his casual clothes, she should be too.
This will be even more annoying with Jacob since he's there after every recruitment mission.
Having said that, being armored in the debriefings is a small thing, really. After all, they've just gotten back and she might not have had (given herself) time to take it off. That's how I rationalize it, anyway.

Gosh no, that'd be a step backward in my opinion.
NPCs managing their own attire is an improvement. Going back to player only wardrobe management isn't something I'd enjoy at all. Have 'em wear what they feel is appropriate. The less they're made out to be dolls for your pleasure the more engaging they are as characters.
