Anyway, don't jump down my throat.... like I said I killed her off just to see how it's handled. I've romanced her as well... and if you take a certain route in the dialogue it's one of the better romances in ME2.

Help me brainstorm, guys. Why is Miranda attracted to Shepard and vice versa? So far I've got the extraordinary competence and a bit of a Pygmalion complex. The creator in love with the creation that she knows everything about but doesn't understand. For him, it's mostly list and a recognition that she is very nearly his equal. He's a Sole Survivor who is functioning in his current situation via bad logic. Cerberus is evil and must be destroyed. Miranda/Lazarus is decent. Therefore, Miranda/Lazarus isn't really Cerberus. He's also bad tempered and rather impulsive, but is coming to realize giving in to his desires for vengeance isn't healthy.It's a touch-and-go-thing, since anger is what kept him functional, but he's a good guy.



And, if this sounds unhealthy, it's supposed to be. I got talked into rewriting "Be All Our Sins Remembered," and it's no happier.

Miranda resents that she spent two years resurrecting Shepard and then he's put in command and able to override her orders. I get the feeling she regards him as reckless and irrational, and certainly not aligned with her/Cerberus's goals. It's made much worse by her realization at some level that he's even better at what he does than she is, especially given that she was born with so many advantages, while he's nobody from nowhere.

Meanwhile, he resents being railroaded into working for Cerberus, and that he has what he sees as a Cerberus watchdog permanently attached to him. After becoming a Spectre, he's probably not used to having someone around whose authority is so near to his own. There's also the danger that TIM will run out of patience with him and put her back in charge (which he indeed tries to do if you destroy the Collector base with her in the party).

Since it's fiction, all this mutual resentment and antagonism are, of course, a gasoline-soaked sexual powder keg, toward  which a drunk person is staggering with a lit blowtorch

I have to admit Miranda looks better in armor peering down a sniper rifle scope than in that little black dress.

Anybody want some ideas? I'm starting to feel overwhelmed. I need to rewrite my first fic so it can serve as backstory to another and a Miranda/Liara premise with no plot to go with it. *whines*

Ah...I see, it's "Be All Our Sins Remembered". If you want to bounce any ideas off my mind, shoot. Otherwise, I feel unable to get into your Shepard's mindset, so I don't think I can be creative with this one.

Yeah sorry should have responded earlier

For getting Miranda in Kasumi's LM:
1. You need to have a save from Kasumi's LM (Chapter Reset, Auto Save, Quick Save or Manual Save)
2. Open that save in Gibbed Save Editor (the 'Load Save' button is the folder at the top left)
3. Looking at the tabs go to PLOT > HENCHMEN (underneath plot) > FLAGS (underneath henchmen)
4. Scroll across untill you see the "Miranda in Squad" option. (which should be unticked)
5. Check that option on and save (Save is the floppy disk icon next to Load)
6. Make sure to overwrite the same save you loaded.
7. Start the game and load that save and she should be there with you.

Unfortunately the Miranda in a dress is actually Shepard with ini tweaks(a lot actually) to get her head and the casual dress you wear in Bekenstein and removal of all weapons.

There is no way to get that dress modded on Miranda...only way to do that I assume would be through the PCC files which at the moment are locked pretty tight.  Otherwise you would have seen things like removing Jacks Visor in the AAP.
