It wasn't actaully "leaked," it was discovered after they got the lastest patch for PS3 or Xbox360.

I've gotten the impression that most people don't read the OP. So I'm posting a revised fanfic list. I've included fanfics that meet the following criteria:

*the story features Miranda prominently (that's why most ME2 novelizations will not appear) or deals with important aspects of her character or backstory.
*it keeps Miranda recognizeable and in character (I'm aware there are differences of opinion here. I'm trying to stay open-minded but there are limits).
*it has a certain minimum standard of writing.

In the following list, I've added the number of chapters and words to the entries. Stories marked "**" are finished and the plot wrapped up reasonably if there is one. One-shots clearly recognizable as such are also marked "**". For stories marked "*" there is some indication they've been abandoned by their authors. Others are in progress, at least by intention if I can get that information.

Feel free to re-post the link to your story. The problem with novelizations is that they're usually not focused on other characters but Shepard enough. So if you're looking for Miranda-themed stories, yours isn't among the first that come to mind.

I'm glad you're still on it, though. You have persistence, that isn't exactly common. *off to read*

Ieldra, just read "A promise of love and death". I really enjoyed it, and I particularily liked how pragmatic shep was. I think my problem with writing fic is that I usually base shep on myself, and I am much too idealistic to be a convincing "do what it takes" kind of hero, thus all of my story ideas end up with happily ever after endings and are dull as hell.

I rp my main shep as doing what it takes to get things done, but still fair/honest.

Either way, good job on the fic.

@jtav: just read "vulnerable". incredible. You captured the playfulness/seriousness perfectly, imo.

I have finally given the new armor a proper run, putting on Miranda from the onset and I must say. I warmed to it within an instant. Even the visor seems to suit her better than I originally thought. There is a certain degree of badassery, for lack of a better term, between her and Shepard decked it similar black armor. Although I rarely use Grunt, his armor only further emphasizes the intimidation factor. The one scene I felt would have been something of a damper was her LM but I justify it as Miri not one to display emotion. Thus, the covered eyes seems logical.



In any event, definitely better than her catsuits.

Thank you. In that story, apart from a certain aspect of the Miranda/Shepard relationship I wanted to show that making Renegade decisions doesn't necessarily mean you're a callous jerk. Something too many people appear to have forgotten, including some of the writers.

Nice! But I still don't like the armor design. I know a lot of people are complaining that squad members are just wearing latex and not armor and is so unrealistic. But I like it. So the armor thing doesn't really work out for me.
