If you can. I am hopefull that since we will be able to roleplay against the Alliance(Posted Image), that we will also be able to make the life of the Usurper a living hell.

Well, as always, the mission comes first. My Shepard won't compromise on that. But otherwise, I won't be any more polite than what's absolutely needed.

I'm already pissed that the Alliance dares to refit the SR2. I guess everything that helps against the Reapers is OK now, but this is *my* ship. That I don't work for Cerberus any more doesn't mean I work for the Alliance.

@Jebel Krong:
I hope I can play my Shepard as a wild card, not really allied with any faction until the end, where the consequences of that become clear. My main Shepard is pro-human but not xenophobic, so a middle ground between Cerberus and the Alliance is what I seek to attain.

The problem here is how much of a leash will the Alliance have on both Shepard and Miranda.... and the more galling issue, is that Shepard is arrested because he undertook a mission under request from Hackett, an Alliance Officer... If Ashley is assigned to 'keep an eye on Shepard' I swear unless she gives that order token lip-service and trusts Shepard within 2 dialog choices.... she's getting spaced.

i'm more pro the ideals of the council and species equality/unity, whilst recognising the sacrifices that need to be made for that. i'm against both the alliance for their me1 stupidity and insistence that i'm still part of it when i'm clearly not and their complete abandonment of me thereafter, and also cerberus because despite some of me2 i didn't forget what they were like in me1, and they are generally very stupid, even if their pro-human to equal status (not dominant) i can symapthise with to a degree.

The infertility was a terribly conceived, and an even more poorly executed idea. You want to give her problems, give her something else. Incurable infertility in a universe where dead people can be resurrected?

WTF.

Matt is deeply misanthropic by the time ME3 rolls around. His disgust for humanity may be stronger than his love for Miranda. I'm not sure he thinks the galaxy is worth saving, and I'm not sure if he'll be consumed by his demons or finally get a happy ending.

"Some game sites saying "previously straight chars now available for both m&f chars" not necessarily true. Will have some new LI's in #ME3"

About the XO's office in ME3

Am I the only one who thinks there a good chance that office will be changed into something else?
It has been mentioned a couple of times that the Alliance will be changing a few things on the SR2...

I really think they will change that area into something else...
I also find it hilarious if they make the VS the XO...I mean Ashley as XO? Doesn't seem right to me...

Katie:I can post a video of MaleShepard saying to Liara "You're interested in me? Even tough we're both women?". With Mark Meer's voice.
They give Meer and Hale the exact same script and then just cut the parts that they don't need. Unless the dialoge differs from ManShep to Femshep, that's not much of a proof.

No, really? Oh my God. Awkward moment 101...

Yep...

Have you ever played Fallout: New Vegas? I think you would like it.
The first game ever where I actually felt like I was really manipulating the different factions to serve my own purposes.

Agreed. If the Alliance removes Miranda's XO status, I want to completely freelance. **** both Cerberus and the Alliance. If I get my SPECTRE status back completely, I'll favor the Council more (though only barely as I'm not sure I trust them either, especially that Turian councilor).

ok, I'm new to this thread but I just wanted to know if Miranda being infertile (i.e. Shadow Broker Dossier) is a big deal for you guys? For some reason it bothers me that Bioware would put slip this in ever so discreetly into there. I still will have her as my main LI in ME3 but I just wanted to know what you guys think?

Depends on the definition of "infertile" in this case. Does she produce viable eggs, but can't carry to term? If that's the case, just take one of her eggs and impregnate it with Shep's sperm and grow it (some might see it as similar to how Miri caame about, but all of her genes were pre-screened and Miri's & Shep's baby wouldn't).

If she doesn't produce eggs either, then there is always adoption.

Guys just something i noticed the final season of Chuck (Season 5, 13 episodes) which obviously stars Mirnada's Voice actor and moedel the lovley Yvonne Strahovski is not airing untill 2012. So does this mean Yvonne will have more time to voice Miranda? more time meaning more voice acting meaning bigger role? Maybe im just being hopefull

I'm glad I'm not the only one!  Hell, with the Shadow Broker's resources, I wouldn't even need the legitimacy that being a Spectre would provide.  I could totally see Alice being Batman (or Batwoman, in her case).  Vigilante justice!

Yvonne is currently filming My Mothers Curse currently which films usually take a very long time to film couple that with voice acting with mass effect 3 (very likely) and that makes her very busy this year.

and Zachary Levi is currently filming Tower heist and Alvin and the chipmunks this year (very busy as well)

and Adam Baldwin currently has nothing from what I know of. (Big role for Kal Reegar?)

so its pretty much held back because most of the actors/actresses have scheduled film shoots and voice acting sessions so they have to delay it to a later date due to that

Unfortunatley, as much as i would like to keep my hopes high, the lack of news do not bode well for Miranda being a squadmate/LI in Mass Effect 3. And now, on top of that, i found out that Yvonne is busy. I just do not want BW to neglect/ruin such a wonderful character. :pinched::(

Theres lack of news for ME2 squadmates too
Casey tweeted that most VO actors would be back especially LI's
He also said they would talk more about this after E3

I can live with her being a temporary squad member. My main concern has always been her characterization. The sore point for me is the way the game seems to be turning into ME1 Part II, with four of the five surviving team members being confirmed as permanent squad members. I hope that at least one ME2-exclusive squad member is confirmed at E3. Miranda is obviously preferable, but I'll take anyone.

The possibility exists that she may actually be an antagonist. Suppose that the "Lazarus used Reaper technology" theory is true. She may receive some data that indicates Shepard as a liability and decide that it's her responsibility to "fix" the mistake.

Depends on the movie. If its a big action movie with lots of special effects it could take a year or more to pull off. But if its a typical 2 hour movie then you can be done with it in two weeks given 12-18 hours per day of shooting, that's realistic. So depends on the film and it depends on the shooting schedule.

Wouldn't that contradict what she said at the beginning of the game?
"If we lose Shepard humanity might well follow"

Sorry, I didn't explain myself well. If she implanted Shepard with Reaper technology and finds out that that could subvert him to the Reapers somehow, she may feel it's her duty to bring him down. "You atone by fixing your mistakes, not by committing suicide."

Hmm I can see that happening...but wouldn't she try and fix it before saying "you have to die"? (Especially if you romanced her)
She knows more about Lazarus than anyone else right?

He was also on the Reaper ship and on the same base that had the Reaper artifact for two days.  Wouldn't that have given him some side-effects? Wouldn't he notice it?

Don't get me wrong here I definately think theres more to Lazarus than we know especially what those "bits and pieces" they added to him are.

that will have zero blowback as casey said they will be doing something different for imports without that dlc.

always seemed a bit weird that you'd been 'kept', sedated, for 2 days anyway... especially after killing all 5 waves, grr mandatory fails.

Adoption is not the same. She wouldn't be able to pass on her gifts, and that would bother me greatly.

But there's a solution to that problem: artificial gametogenesis - the creation of viable eggs from normal stem cells. We can't do it yet, but it would surprise me if that wasn't involved in creating Miranda. Then use IVF and there are several scenarios for what follows. It would bother Miranda that she can't have children the natural way, but it's highly implausible that she can't have any biological children at all, and using advanced biotechnology would be a decisive sign that she's made peace with her origins, even if she doesn't engineer anything new in. Anyway the result would be a child with a random mix of its parents' genes, just like any child, only the methods of getting there would differ. If they want it that way - I'd leave it to every players' imagination to decide if they'd make sure their children get Miranda's longevity, accelerated healing and faster learning ability.

Reapers still want your body for study?

DLC aside...

There was no effect on him on the Reaper ship not even from squadmates granted we don't know how long it takes to affect people and how long they were on the ship

But what jtav brought up about his parts being from Reaper tech seems like something that could happen
EDI was created with some Reaper (Sovereign) parts...
