I would like the opposite, actually. Make the wrong decisions and Miranda will break it up with Shepard. Much more realistic and interesting.
For example, it would have been great to see some discontentment and disappointment from her if you give Tyrone's data to the Alliance.

Right? I had to leave Miranda and Jacob on the ship a couple of times for that one. Makes no sense uploading it to Allaince Command when you have two Cerberus Officers standing right next to you. Keeping the data or sending it to Cerberus are the only choices that make sense in that instance. The ME team should clean up on their role playing mechanics.

I roleplay it differently. I do that mission very early in the game so, Shepard was trying to ascertain just how far he could push the rope before Miranda tried to hang him with it.

Meh. As long as the scenes capture passion and emotion I don't care if it is pants or no pants. Although I thought the partial nude ME1 scenes were much better than the ME2 no nudity scenes.

The phrase "pants appropriate" is another of those answers which doesn't answer. All they're saying is that whether or not the characters are wearing clothes will be appropriate to the relevant scene. Another fine example of tellilng you something without telling you something from Mr Hudson!

A very small teaser.

My aunt was standing outside waiting for us when we got there. Her eyes were red from crying, and I felt a pang of stupid, illogical guilt. "Ms. Lawson? I don't know where—" Her eyes widened when she saw me. "Matt? Oh, thank God!"

Miranda clenched her fist. "Your nephew is fine, Dr. Shepard. I found him a few blocks from your hotel. Since he doesn't want to stay under the same roof as you, I'm going to find somewhere else to put him for the night."

"No! I let you blackmail me into going along with this, but if you think I'm going to let you take charge of him, even for a night..."

Miranda arched a single perfect eyebrow, though the lines on her face made her look more haggard than menacing. "Please. If I wanted to do something to your nephew, you wouldn't be able to stop me. His honor is entirely safe with me, I assure you." Her lips curled into a sneer. "As for the blackmail, it's a very, very small fraction of what I'd like to do to you. Be grateful my employers find you useful, doctor. If it were up to me, you'd never be allowed near a child again."

My aunt's eyes glittered with the same defiance I'd seen earlier. "As if you're so much better than me. The only difference between us is that I feel sorry for what I did. You're no better than Eldfell, experimenting on her child to get your precious super-biotic."

Miranda went rigid. At first I thought the pain had finally gotten to her, but she shivered. I could see small arcs of biotic energy coursing across her bare skin. The pain melted away before her fury. I'd wanted to see her passionate again. Well, now I was. It was as if there was a lightning storm going on inside her and flashed with barely enough to contain it. Anybody with any sense would have run away screaming, but my aunt and I were rooted to the spot. "Do. Not. Compare. Me. With. Him." Each word was like the grate of metal on metal. "Get out of here." She lifted her hand, letting us both see the biotic power thrumming within.

Aunt Gwen did the entirely sensible thing: she left.

Am I the only one who interpreted that as in if the scene calls for no pants (i.e. Miranda's love scene) then there won't be pants? :?

I interpreted it that way myself. Would only make sense, since this is the last game in the trilogy after all, that they'd go all out.

I actually meant what you want from romances i did not write it very well i meant that i doubt they will majorly change the relationship dynamics like a break up, serious commitment etc in between ME2 and ME3, they will have us make the decisions and consequences during ME3 not pre decide them

after that I do agree if you start to react to her in ways she does not like (lets say as an example you flirted with another squad member whilst dating miranda)  then I do want her to react or question you about such things I do not want them to act like you did nothing wrong (like the other potential romances do when you are already on about doing you know what with another squad member)

i think the only consequences involving miranda with the romance side of things during ME3 is if you got miranda to not kill niket, if she spoke to her sister and how you to interacted with eachother before the deed (paragon or renegade) and very possibly your previous romances (say if the previous romance is showing serious interest in you as an example) but that is all guess work there

Pretty much.
One thing to note is that the E3 Demo for ME3 is done.

So what kind of re-design choices would you like to see for Miranda in Mass Effect 3 (assuming she has one, considering nearly all of the revealed characters do)?

I know a lot of you would like her to wear something more armored/protective, but I don't really mind the catsuit for one main reason- it sells (for me) the whole [sexy] operative/femme fatale look very well. Sure it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that she can take a load of bullets with it, but for it's aesthetic purpose? I like it.

Thought what I wouldn't mind seeing on her would be her already gorgeous hair in something of a fair, flowing ponytail... I like them like that.

@Space sweeper:
Most of us here have always argued for two outfits: a civilian one, which can be sexy if it's not over-the-top and cheap like the white catsuit, and something more realistic on missions. Being lightly armored or not at all in combat is one thing, but looking like you're going to distract the enemy with your "assets", that's just silly. Also note that the "femme fatale" - which Miranda doesn't fit anyway - is a non-combatant. She also manipulates by allure and style and not by cheap thrill. If Miranda actually got a civilian outfit carrying that image , I wouldn't mind at all. But it had to be classy, and put away in combat.

Better hair has already been hinted at by Bioware. But Miranda with ponytail.......ugh......NOOOOOOOOOOO.......

I see your point. I should also mention that I was using the term "femme fatale" loosely; in the "deadly woman" sense, not exactly the manipulative sense. But as (I think) I've mentioned before, if Miranda wasn't going to be in a squadmate/combat role in ME3, I'd hope for her to remain the Normandy's XO, and keep her office; though not being a squadmate, maintaining the same amount of interactivity between missions, and regular appearances in cutscenes-- if that was so, I would hope for a civilian/formal military outfit.

Honestly I really really like her hair the way it is now...It's probably more of a personal preference...I like women with their hair down!  Mentioned before was the lighting/model issues giving her face a bad look to it; that needs fixing first.

For armor: New armor...have you seen the pictures in the ME3 articles (I wish I could put that up) with the Female Cerberus Operatives wearing that armor? Give her that without the helmet (and give her a proper helmet for vacuums PLEASE).  This would make me happy although if they give her a better armor design than that it would be nice too :)

For casualwear: A new catsuit? If they make it so she leaves Cerberus no matter the SM base choice I'd like one without the Cerberus logo.

Of course this assumes she is a member of the team.

I also like the catsuit in combat especially during missions in city hubs, and I also think it really fits the character. The fact that she can't take a load of bullets is true, but like almost all the other squadmates. But for an operative like Miranda I prefer that she rely on her shields and her agility than on a misfit heavy armor.
The only thing I would have liked is an airtight suit during missions in hostile environment.

About her hair : I wouldn't mind if she has the same hair cut (with the new technology to make them more realistic)

No thanks, I think it's still too heavy for Miranda.

To me, the only armor which already exist and really make sense as an evolution of her catsuit is the Asari Commando armor.

I don't think it's a Cerberus operative, a female soldier/infiltrator maybe.
