Ashley is dead in my story. So this problem shouldn't happen.

The part I don't believe will happen is her being on Earth and being there to greet you on the Normandy as it picks you up.

So keeping the base and having her as LI (or otherwise) is bad?

If she's indoctrinated and can't be saved, BW will never get another cent from me. I'd hold EA equally responsible, but unfortunately, they make too many games that pique my interest on a regular basis.

I was planning on saving Ash, but if the only way to keep Miri on the squad is to kill her on Virmire, I'll do it. Unfortunately, both Miri & Kaidan are Sentinels, so that wouldn't make much sense either. I hope they didn't re-design Ash to salvage Miranda's fan base, as that won't be good enough for me.

I honestly romanced Ashley first, but then I romanced Miranda because she lost my favor, but I am PRAYING to the BW gods that they do a catfight between Ashley and Miranda if you romanced both of them.

I don't think your VS choice will influence Miranda's squad status. My point is that Miranda has always filled the "conventionally sexy human female" role and that's now being taken by Ashley. Not to mention they look enough alike that a casual gamer maybe confused.

Doesn't mean later on when you meet you can't choose to have her on as perma squadmate:

VS: "Shepard you can't let her be on our team shes Cerberus"
Shepard: "This is my damn ship and if I want her on our team shes going ot be on our team!"

I think that anything can happen. I've been surprised with games before with things I never thought would happen. So who knows.

I don't know tbh. Depends on whose call it is. I hope not, but they definitely gave Ash the Miranda treatment. I've always been prone to expect the worst.

uh how many people know that shes modelled after Yvonne anyway?

Maybe. But that's only the first impression you may or may not have of her, because - as everybody in this thread would probably agree - her character is actually very well developed. Doesn't hurt though that her body is very well developed, too. The only thing I'm really worried about is that she's not going to be a squaddie. And TBH - the chances have become quite low for her to be in the squad as there aren't supposed to be as many squaddies as in ME2 and we already have half a dozen confirmed.

It feels like BioWare already punched me in the stomach with the base choice -- now doing that would just be pouring gas on me and liting a match.
