Yes but other than that we don't know and there's no confirmation from a Developer.

And the attention Ashley, Liara, and Tali are getting doesn't bode well for us.
I know ... I really have the feeling they want to give the lead part to the ME1 characters at the expense of the other ones.I can understand that the VS gets an important role and a full time squadmate status after the let down of ME2 ... but Tali and Garrus <_<

Same here. As for the demos, there will be at least one more. They have 20-30 minutes tomorrow at 1PM PDT/4PM EDT.YoCalio wrote...
Well that helped me settle back into the calmness. Thanks for that. Fingers crossed as always.
I'm looking forward to what they show tomorrow apparently there are two more demos?

I hope what they show will be more RPG oriented. They've really pushed the new combat stuff so far and that's not really what I play for.

There will be a 'backstage pass' to one of their closed E3 demos tomorrow @ 6PM EST/3PM PDT on BiowareTV.
And they have a live Q&A on Thursday at 9am pacific so you can ask your #ME3 and #swtor questions there.

A few articles also got information flat out wrong (no new LIs) unless it comes from the horse's mouse it's not confirmed.

Ryzaki was trying to say that the article that mentioned there wouldn't be any was incorrect.
Yeah that's what I meant. I don't trust any info that (especially this early in production) doesn't come from BW itself.

I don't think she'll be with Cerberus in ME3 either way. She won't join their Shepard hunt after what they went through together in ME3 and after seeing what he's capable of.Vertigo_1 wrote...
She never "officially" quits if you keep the base.Lenimph wrote...
Because Miranda can quit with Cerberus and work with Shephard... who is on Earth
Alliance officials wouldn't let an opportunity pass if they knew she was around no matter if she quit or not
As for jtav's suggestion of Miranda being indoctrinated and an enemy if you kept the base: for several reasons only partly related to Miranda that would be a reason for me not to buy the game. And as opposed to others I dont say such things lightly. Fortunately I don't think it will happen.
@jtav:
As for my anticipated reaction: this is too big for being angry. In one moment, the ME universe would cease to be one I'd want to play in and I'd leave it for good. It would be a sad moment, not an angry one.

One does try. But it is getting increasingly more difficult with those confliciting messages, absence of information and annoyingly plausible negative scenarios. Atm I'm thinking of leaving here because it's so emotionally draining. Never thought being a fan of a video game character would be so painful.Vertigo_1 wrote...

I'm an optimist. I believe Miranda will be back and be pretty integral to the story as far as Cerberus/LI stuff. I mean she was a big wig Cerberus operative and your XO. Mordin, Thane, Jack ect. don't have resume like that. She'll be back, but I understand the worry. Just don't freak yourselves out too much especially so far from release.
No one ever listens though!

Indeed. The almost ever present 'doom & gloom' is seriously damaging my calm. What part of "We can't tell you about Miranda because that would be a serious spoiler" don't people get?<_<
What part of "Depending on your choices, Miranda may be a team member for a significant part of ME3" could be considered a spoiler?
Having said that, it could be that they'll do to her what they did to Garrus in ME2. I didn't follow that information closely back in 2009, but IIRC, they kept his reappearance secret for a long time, and his fans were in about the same state we are in for some time before that.

From later explanations I think what he meant was there would be no new characters introduced that could become LIs. Meaning that some of the characters we already know may become LIs in ME3. Not necessarily team members I should add.YoCalio wrote...
Didn't Casey actually state in a recent interview that there will be new LIs?
But even that is all speculation.

@TeeShepz Like most key characters in the ME universe, Miranda and Jacob will be in #ME3, but details beyond that would be story spoilers.
Can't provide the exact link, but that's it, copied and pasted. I've bolded what I think is the relevant part.

I recall that twitter message. The thing is, people do want to know all kinds of things, but what we're most concerned about is the amount of screen presence she'll get. I can't see how that needs to be hidden if it is not something disappointing.Prudii Aden wrote...

i am also very disappointed that there's no "uber" edition, as they promised - all the other major series have had one: halo, gears etc. if BW want to play on the top-tier field, they really need to compete, and whilst lithos etc. are nice, they aren't comparable to statues/diaoramas etc. and the jokey CE content - artbook aside (the cover image is amazing) - robot dog?! does the game no favours.
anyway enough moaning, it's depressing when there has been some good stuff shown already - dynamic levels look epic, as do the reapers.
oh and:

I would need to be hidden if their role in ME3 contains spoilers about Cerberus or Illusive Man himself. If Cerberus has become a major antagonist for Shepard (as the gameplay footage seems to indicate) then both Jacob and Miranda might play an important role, even if they're not permanent squadmates.
