Ieldra - I've got the dancing Yvonne gif saved in my gallery, however I can't get to it as I'm on my mobile.
Still - 600! Anything from the Q&A of use?

Fixed^
err I requested that not Iedra though I suppose she would like to see that too? :D

Nothing really of use in the Q&A.
First question asked about ME2 romances in ME3
Hudson said that all romances would have a resolution in ME3 including ME2 romances.

I must say, Casey is an expert at dodging anything Miranda related when it come to ME3. She's been asked about a couple times in the last few days and it's the same canned answer. I just want to be put out of my misery and know if she's a perm squad mate so I can go back to avoiding spoilers.

Yeah it's stupid they can talk about Liara, Ashley who I both like being a squadmate and that other person that everyone seems to love but not about Miranda for some odd reason.

There is one of two reasons a person does such a thing it's because they're hiding the fact that they don't want us to know because there will be a fan backlash due the fact she is not a squadmate or..... she is and it really does have a big part in ME3... which is doubtful.
I'm starting to think it's the first one I said.:alien:

If she's a squadmember, they won't tell you anything until it's officialy revealed. If she's not a squadmember, they still won't give you any details because she's almost certainly tied to some Cerberus related stuff that cannot be spoiled until you play the game.

From the few bits that they did reveal, the one that gives me hope is that the tension between Shepard and his Me1 and ME2 LI's is supposed to drag through the whole game and culminate at the end. The only way to pull that off is to have a good deal of interaction with both LI's during the course of ME3.

Personally, I'm hoping they'll say something to the effect: "Miranda has an important role to play in ME3, but we can't go into details. You'll just have to play the game and see for yourself". That would really put my mind at ease.

Eh... I hope your right... but after what they did with Ash in ME2... I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. Usually things I want like being able to have both Ash and Miri in my party probably won't it seems the stuff I think is cool everybody else disagrees with.

I love how these RPGS allow you to do everything supposedly well if that is the case why did I have to leave Kaiden or Ash behind to get blowned up. Why couldn't somebody else... or why couldn't I Macgyver the damn nuke. Or when Queen Anora betrayed me in Dragon Age. Why couldn't I have a backup plan in place? I know I couldn't trust her. They should of allowed for me to have a plan in place where if she did set us up Leliana would slit Queen Anora's throat... oh no because that make sense.

Well, I'm taking solace in the fact that ME3 is the last chapter of Shepard's story, so any and all loose ends need to be tied up. They can't keep stuff out of the game like they did with VS in ME2.

Also, looking at the current squad lineup, we have Liara as our only biotic expert. Unless Vega is a vanguard, we need another character with biotic abilities, since some people won't have Kaidan in their squad. Miri or Jack would fill that spot nicely, but miranda also has skills that make her very useful outside of a battlefield, so she's a pretty strong candidate imo.

E3's almost over and no info about Miranda. I am now officially disenchanted with ME3, which is a shame since it does look good. But I can't imagine any reason why they wouldn't give us some assurance about her status unless there is none to give.

@sledge I'm actually leaning towards the first one. After all the interaction with Cerberus in ME2 I'd be shocked and disappointed if they were downgraded back to basic uninteresting ME1 bad guys. So I'm expecting some sort of former Cerberus agent to be interacting with me and since I've heard Jacob isn't to big in the game (although I did hear that second hand on these boards so it could be wrong...) Miranda would seem to naturally fulfill that role.

Might be fun if the game started with her being kept in a cell onboard as a source of intel against Cerberus actually.

Well, Mac Walters (lead ME writer) tweeted earlier that he was getting on with romance scenes today along with "dialogue for the final chapter", my point being that Miri's appearance in ME3 should be a lot more than the VS in ME2, she should have at least as much content as Liara did in LoTSB.

Since she is a returning LI after all, and as Jesse said in the EA Q+A demo yesterday "All important characters will return in ME3" in response to a question about Miranda, followed by one about DLC characters.

So I'm not giving up hope for Miri just yet.

eh - they're obviously saving stuff for later. tbh i'm surprised what we've seen has been so... unfinished. yeah there's also a surprisingly long wait till actual release, too but really only 2 completed sections (with temp VA in one)?

it's not like miranda was singled out for ignorance - thane, jack etc still unknown factors, so until she's being left out i'm not particularly worried - the earth section alone justifies purchse with that kind of spectacle and newfound dynamism in level design/events/gameplay.

Yeah I have a feeling we shouldn't expect as much immediate post-release content with ME2, I mean if this is the stage they're at now I kind of feel like they won't have a massive amount of free time between now and when the game releases.

ME1 ... you're gonna play with the only characters that really matter in the series. <_<

Yeah, I'm pissed off. I should go to sleep.

Just wanted to let everyone (unless everyone is panicking and no one sees this :P)
David Silverman just confirmed Bioware will be at Gamescon (in Germany)

Gamescon is from August 17-21

So this seems like the next event where we get some more info / demos
