Yes, no Cerberus logo
I hope we'll be able to play post suicide mission DLC with Miranda without her cerberus uniform.

The most efficient and least stupid way to get loyal Tali killed is to select her as the tech specialist and use an inappropriate or unloyal fire team leader.Sixth Goul wrote...
Hey, what the best way to get a loyal Tali killed without endangering the rest of the crew? What I'm planing on doing is to romance Kelly, renegade sleep with Jack and romance Miranda after the collector base. With my new Shepard,I'm planning on making. Which, was inspired by jtav and Death Stalker one and two.
I want a Cerberus logo for those games where I kept the base and an outfit without one for those games where she resigns (yes, in spite of my opinion about the decision, I have those games)Yannkee wrote...

@Yankee, Pacifien:
IIRC Miranda is always present at the Collector base final scene, where you make the decision to destroy or keep the base. i.e. it's possible that she always says something about the base unless you choose the middle option (then she says nothing).

Actually, I'd prefer one without logo anyway - it's somehow silly how she runs around as an operative of this supposedly super-secret organization wearing their logo all the time.Yannkee wrote...

Yes but we'll have only 1 alternate outfit, so it must be one without a logo. We already have two uniforms with logo.

I actually meant the LIs for a maleShep. It's true I think Miranda is the most interesting overall, but that's not prevented me from playing femSheps - were it not for Miranda, I'd prefer them. Apart from that, I don't play this game only for its virtual romances.

I'll try that one more time. Now that I've played Miranda's missions several times and her romance three times, I might be able to play a maleShep who stays with Ashley and doesn't romance anyone in ME2.jtav wrote...
I can still play my FemSheps and I can even play MaleShep and romance someone else.
This is another one I wouldn't romance in the stricter sense. I really like Samara and she would a great friend, even a soulmate, for one of my Shepards, but the relationship would have to stay platonic. If the thing with Samara actually counted, that would be my favorite option for a MaleShep.
Why? Because you fear what the conflict will be in ME3? I tend to do the same, but I have one maleShep with Ashley in ME1 and Miranda in ME2. Just because I want to see how it goes. If it goes badly, I can always discontinue that Shepard.Miranda wins more or less by default when it comes to the official options. The one thing I won't do is romance someone in ME and them romance her. She always gets a single Shep.

If you're interested to see the results I and some other people have been getting, I did document it all here. But when I did a final assessment of everything in the suicide mission guide, I specifically said all the data demonstrated a pattern and wasn't a guaranteed result. It's to help those who want to get a very specific outcome with the suicide mission.Yannkee wrote...
To me she's the only one who respond to TIM if you choose "the base is an abomination", regardless of your other squadmate. But I haven't tested all squadmates, only Legion, Garrus, Samara, Kasumi and Jacob.Ieldra2 wrote...

I'm always amazed at the variety of expressions on Miranda's face. I don't think there's another game with such expressiveness on characters' faces - and among the ME2 characters, Miranda stands out. This is from the first romance scene:

This is all in relation to what the squadmates say during the suicide mission. When the Illusive Man begins his communication with you as you're getting ready to destroy the base, he tells you there's another option. You then have three choices. You can tell him outright the base is an abomination, ask what that option is, or ask him what he'd do with the base.TheKillerAngel wrote...
Miranda will disagree with keeping the base regardless of your other squadmate - I think it's something she says by default.Hear Miranda disagree with keeping the base:
1) Bring along a squadmate who agrees with keeping the base (Garrus, Grunt, Legion, Mordin, Zaeed)
2) Tell the Illusive Man the base is an abomination
Edit: I just tested talking to all the squad members if you keep the base. None of them agree with the decision.
If you tell the Illusive Man the base is abomination, then Garrus, Grunt, Legion, Mordin, or Zaeed is going to speak up with a reason why you should keep the base.
If you ask the Illusive Man what he plans to do with the base, then Jack, Jacob, Kasumi, Miranda, Samara/Morinth, Tali, or Thane will then speak up with a reason why you need to destroy the base.
It's similar to how in ME1, when Joker asks you if the Alliance Fleet should come in to save the Destiny Ascension, one of your squadmates is going to advocate saving them while the other advocates sacrificing them. Then you'd get a situation where if you had Liara and Garrus with you, Liara would say to save the Council while Garrus says not to. But then have Garrus and Wrex with you, Garrus will say to save the Council while Wrex says not to. Only in ME2, squadmates stick to one decision or the other.
When you get back to the Normandy, all squadmates will then voice some reservation if you had kept the base, regardless if they were advocating for you to keep it earlier.

Something I don't think we've ever discussed: what prompted Miranda to tell Niket about Oriana after over fifteen years of keeping it a secret from him?
Ieldra2 wrote...
It's more like "Everyone needs to know you're mine". It's her way of saying she won't share Shepard. I find that expression jarring myself, since she seems a rather private person in all other scenes and this doesn't fit, but since I never hear it myself it's easy to ignore. I think whoever wrote this wanted to have her say something "different" from the standard expressions and this was the result.awpdevil wrote...
I dunno if it necessarily has anything to do with the choice in location, but if you have other interests at the time you start flirting around with her, she says something like " I want to make sure everyone on this ship knows your mine." Take that anyway you want. I'm not even sure what I myself, think of that comment.

This may come as a surprise, but I actually do read your post. Now,I know we disagree on pretty much everything, but you actually inadvertently came up with the blueprint for the ultimate Shepard. It was when you were writing your BSDM Miranda romance with I think Liara or Thane? All aliens look a like to me. You said something about how Shepard comes off as nothing more then doing the whole save the day person. So. I decided to use that simplistic concept and make the greatest characters off all time,so thank you jtav.jtav wrote...

The BDSM thing was Shepard, actually. And feel free to fold, spindle or mutilate anything I say. I can come up with ideas, but I can't do anything with them. I have a few sentences of a Miranda/Liara story, a page and a half of Miranda/Shepard, and half of a first chapter for the Miranda/Thane. Do you have any idea how frustrating that is? I wish I could remember how to focus.
