I don't buy it. If anything she'd be watching Jacob do crunches or something.

If she watched the entire event, why would she ask exactly how genetically modified Miranda is?

this

Seriously, Kasumi watching Miri&Shep idea is ridiculous.

I've failed. The nearest save would require about a ten hour replay, and I don't have time for that just now.

I only need 20 minutes. But today I haven't got 20 minutes at home until midnight. I'm going to test it tomorrow.

QFT. I can believe that Kasumi and Miranda talked, or that she hacked the Normandy's systems to get info on Miranda. But her watching - that's ridiculous.

Would you guys be willing to help a struggling fic writer out? I. need to get Miranda's character wrong. Shepard's trapped in a hallucination/fantasy of a relationship with her, but it's just an illusion. He's a Paragon Sole Survivor, so they've been having some... tension over her loyalty to Cerberus and her ruthlessness, so I want the false Miranda to have resigned, definitely. I need some ideas for some things I can do to clue the reader in that this is just his fantasy woman and the real thing. I don't want to be too obvious start off because it's going to take awhile to figure out that this is just the Reapers manipulating him in an attempt to get him to go away. This is his happy ending with her, pure and unvarnished, but it is also completely and utterly false because Miranda is no longer Miranda. Just someone who looks and sounds like her.

I apologize for hijacking things for my pet project, but I appreciated help that the hive mind could give me.

It's manner of speaking... not an actual question !!!! She just want to express herself regarding Mirranda's figure. That's why she said "wow !".... Because it is "wow indeed !!!!"...

What are you talking about ? She only wants Shepard to confirm that Miranda has an amazing body , that's all. She says 'wow !' like most people would say 'wow !' admiring Miranda's body.

Again, this idea is ridiculous.

So here's my thought experiment of the day. I've been wondering which squadmates actually work best with each other, not by gameplay standards, but by what we know of their personalities, their history, their strategies, their abilities. You have to organize a three-man squad, and Shepard cannot be a part of it. You can pick squadmates from either game.

I'll admit that Miranda has always been one of the most difficult squadmates for me to figure out, so thinking about what squadmates bring out her best qualities and vice versa is a difficult exercise for me. Could do with hearing the perspective of those who understand her more than I do.

Samara is a top pick for me because Samara does not carry the baggage of a harsh opinion of Cerberus. Her biotics compliment Miranda's. I think Samara and Miranda get along. Plus, having worked alone as a Justicar for a few centuries, Samara has to depend on Miranda's ability to coordinate a team for battle.

Thane was another one who I thought would work well with Miranda. Again, he is someone who has worked alone and needs a strong leader to coordinate an attack. Plus, he's the long-range sniper, Samara's the mid-range assault rifle, and Miranda's the closer range SMG -- though I think Miranda would feel getting that close to an enemy a la Vanguard is a completely reckless combat tactic.

So thoughts?

Garrus, Liara, Miranda. In terms of chemistry and combat, I can't think of a better jack-of-all trades 3-person team.

Though my dream team is Miranda, Liara and Infiltrator Shep.

What about having her always ask Shepard for decisions? That's very much against her nature, and it can be seductive because it lets Shepard shape the dream. If done subtly, something like this can go unnoticed by readers for quite some time. We here, unfortunately, are spoiled now ;)

I'll think about this more, perhaps I can come up with more. Must be off for the night now....

Considering it's not a spoiler, you guys will be all right. I refuse to pretend a plot that is that shopworn will be a surprise to anybody, so I'm not even trying to make it a twist.

To me, a Miranda who has settled to inaction and passivity would be best in this regard.

Sort of like the Fade dream you have in DA:O where Duncan's all "Rejoice! Relax! The threat is over!"

Shepard has a dream where Miranda isn't interested in the Reaper threat at all and wants to settle down and live this nice peaceful life...

... and that, my friends, is not Miranda. She does not sit on the sidelines.

Well, I guess I'll end up with 2 Shep's that have Miranda as their one and only. However, one of them is going to be so sickeningly Paragon, it'll make your teeth hurt. (This would be the one from the non-import ME2 game.). Long term chances with Miranda? Well...

Break out the wheel of decision and choose other groups at random to kick to hell.  Blue Suns, Eclipse, Blood Pak, Krogan, Asari, Hanar, Elcor, Salarian, Turian, Alliance, Cerberus, Batarians, etc. I'm sure that can keep them occupied for the rest of their lives.

All those merc groups take some heavy blows in ME2, if you play the side missions. The Blue Suns in particular will have their plans thwarted by Shepard and his crew several times. As for the other groups, I can see Miranda trying to convince other Cerberus team members to resign if Shep's paragon and loyal to the Alliance. For someone who was once so loyal to leave, and not only that but one of Cerberus' team leads, her decision to leave has to carry weight. All the alien species you mentioned, I don't think the genocide of an entire species is in Shep's schedule, then he would become the very thing he's trying so hard to destroy.

I have the package.

What she says:

"I suppose we should talk. But I won't be shared. If it's going to go anywhere, everyone on this ship needs to know you're mine."

Just saw the video. One problem, shouldn't she say "I won't share you" instead of "I won't be shared"?
