I don't know whether to be amused or horrified that a pairing I originally came up with because I was annoyed with the treatment of LGBT issues in the game has snowballed into a cheating punisment. It has become my legit OTP and I'm pleased some other people like it and I'm not just getting funny looks.

The reason I support ME1LI/ME2LI is because it will be an epic moment when both LI's ditch Shepard in favour for each other. Also just because I wanna see all those Tali-mancers kick and scream on the forums!

I support Miri and Liara leaving Shepard for good and date each other, they deserve it.

I just loved how "human" Miri was there. She kinda showed she cared for how Liara was feeling. Liara went through hell and people wonder why she is why she is in ME2.

I'm not sure, but fanfiction seemed to have started a dialog between the Liara and Miranda threads, resulting in this maelstrom.

#4 is a slasher's goldmine. The whole comic is a slasher's goldmine.

Let me be clear, though. I don't support Shep being punished for any LI choice. I just like the bloody pairing and I think it would be awesome if the marketing poster girl was presented as less than 100% straight without it turning into a girl on girl fantasy for teen boys.

No, it did not start with jtav's fanfic.

I read some of jtav's Liara/Miranda fanfic and I quite liked it. It's very well written.

Then someone suggested, in an unrelated thread, that they hope Shepards are punished by Miranda and Liara getting together.

jtav was simply happy that a pairing she had thought odd and unwelcome was getting attention, even if it was negative attention.
