No it isn't bad. At least you don't have Moranda calling everyone "baby" or "honey" and completely sex-obsessed.

Speaking if my failed magnum opus, anybody got a suggestion for what to call Nos Astra's equivalent of the Waldorf-Astoria? Luxury hotel. Refined, elegant luxury hotel for those with both taste and wealth.

I'm one to talk, considering that I'mfailing atwriting a sex scene. I like reading the occasional bit of smut. But I like reading about Miranda having sex. Sex is good for revealing perosonality, and the bad porn of sticking every practice you can think of makes me roll my eyes.

*blows raspberry*
*makes absurd childish face*
And you want your proof? Well here's your proof!
Feron wears... a trenchcoat.
Trenchcoats could make even Keanu Reeves sexy. And they have. They're that powerful.
I rest my case and accept your unconditional surrender to my superior logic.

The opening was male Shepard finally breaking down and sobbing about everything... and sobbing... and sobbing... (apparently it was called Atlas because he had been holding up the world and now he needed to cry)...
And Miranda (who was acting exactly like Kelly, just picture it was Kelly in this scene) was comforting him and holding him while he cried... and cried... "and the floodgates opened"...
I was reminded inexplicably of Japanese anime...

And I was hungry for some fanfic. You're always looking for the stuff that will expand the story and the game for you in such a way that something inside of you becomes satisfied in a way it wasn't before.

Sad thing is I got that fanfic from the OP of the old Miranda thread. There was a list of Miranda fanfic there.

I want variety. More stuff that isn't about Miranda/Shep.
And I'd like the story I'm working on to cooperate. I feel like a joke.

Yes, we're just talking about fanfic. Not the game. It's just that when I'm dissatisfied with the "canon" option, as here, I start looking around for alternatives. Right now, my favorite happens to be Miranda/Liara. I also like Miranda/Jacob, Miranda/Thane, and Miranda/Kaidan. There's no chance of any of this happening in game, so I have to create these things for myself. All I have to is create a reasonably plausible scenario and try to keep the characters in character.
You know that should be added to ME 3. Where you crew members actually break off and have relationships with other crews members. It will give the crew a move personal feel. Out of all the pairings you named I like Miranda/Thane the best its something about the couple that I think well make Miranda really shine as character. Every time I think about the pair I keep hearing Miranda tell Thane
"I brought a man back from the dead. I will not lose you."
What made me realize that once she sets her mind on the something it will get done, she is an amazingly strong women for a 'Femme Fatal" type character.

The Tali fans are a-hatin' on Miranda right now?
Not just a one or two that like to rant most of just us kind roll our eyes and say okay. Most of the time there a lot of Raunchy humor and Grand Galactic Inquisitor jokes. One of our poster wrote a really nice short story about Miranda and Tali coming to understand each other better.
I just did not want any bad blood because a few bad apples..
Oh okay. Thanks for popping in and saying that then. I appreciate it.
Some people just have problems showing love for their romance without putting down someone else's, I guess.
I know Miranda's romance gets some hate from a lot of different groups, but I try not to let one person represent the whole group.
Thats all that i can ask of you.
I could never understand why fans always have to do that, after reading the post before mine I felt like it was best that a Tali/Shepherd fan come in a show the Miranda/Shepherd fans that we are not completely blind to other characters.
The main reason that I choose to go with Tali over Miranda was that I play my Shepherd as close as i can to myself. So Miranda and I tend to be a little too much alike to be in a relationship. We would be at each others throats everyday and most of the arguments would nothing more than Icy Glares and snide remarks.

I'm planning to write in a sex scene in fic as well. I'm just trying to figure out how the hell to write it tastefully, rather than a random romp in the sack.
Tip one: Don't do it in the engine room

um... try to focus on the emotional nature of the moment rather than physical... really whats it important is how you set the context in which the scene takes place. Check this fic out it sex scenes are pretty well done www.fanfiction.net/s/5858318/1/Insubordinating
