Can they can be far off from fixing the Silverite Mines bug as well? I'm sure it's in their to-do list. This is great news!!

I don't  want to sound like an ingrate -- those are most of the fixes I would have asked for. For once, let me say, thank you Bio.

However, I really really hope they fix Silverite mines. It's avoidable, and I've figured out the method for doing it, but I feel for the people who don't know it's about to bite and get bitten.

I feel the same about playing both sides in Orzammar. It's avoidable, but some people got stuck there permanently because of it. I'd LIKE to see if fixed though time will tell if this patch will be THAT inclusive.

There's a myriad of other quest reward items and such missing from the game (The Shaperate comes to mind), but a good number of the big ones are getting squished. Hopefully we'll see a date on the arrival of the patch soon.

Anders, Sigrun and Velanna's personal quests will properly activate.

Does this mean they'll also go thru the joining even if you get sigrun or velanna last and the attack is about to begin?

Nice work. Loving the updates, I'll likely take a break from Super Street Fighter 4 to grab Darkspawn Chronicles and play through Origins and Awakening again after the patch drops.

If it'll potentially speed up the patching process at all, don't be afraid to put beta patches out there for community QA testing. It works fro Blizzard on their PTR servers, and while that is a different beast, many of your customers, like myself, would be more than happy to test beta patches and let you know if things are indeed fixed or not.

This is a great idea. I would be more than happy to test beta patchs for fixes, compatibility, stability, ect.. Excellent, excellent idea!

There are going to be more bug fixes listed at some point, so it's likely that this one will be fixed either by the main patch, or an updated DLC.

Nice, hopefully next week we learn about a fix to the crashes with Mana clash or Holy smite from 1.03 on PC...

• Updated audio drivers to fix a number of audio related crashes.
I am guessing this was the problem with those =)

Good catch- could very well be the case. 1.03 just crashes so much anytime I've got too many spells going on.

Pretty much in the middle of a large battle ..from the Ogre in the Tower of Ishal...to the Final Battle with the Archdemon.

Spells and sounds  going off,  pretty much ensures I'll crash at least once...but not always.     Perhaps depends on how long I have had the game on.      No idea.   I do try to do a restart occasionally ..and a reboot of my machine,  it does help.   Still get "slowdowns" on transferring to another zone after playing for awhile,  noticeable by slow moving characters and such.     When I notice this I log off and restart.

So 1.03 DID fix some of this slow loading problem with AMD machines, but I have a feeling it needs tweaking some more.

Sony Online Entertainment  (SOE) has been doing this for quite some time,  other games occasionally have test servers you can sign up to as well,  such as LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online)   so yeah its a good idea, and allows the gamers to participate or  "help".     All voluntarily of course. :)

If this is the only bug that is not fixed, I would say that it would be more than "good enough".  I would think that minor cosmetic bugs (left over arrows over people's heads for example) would be the last last thing to be tested ... at least I would hope so.

In my opinion (which of course is rather arbitrary), I would think that lost playing time, story glitches, and getting abilities to function as intended would be the highest priorities.

I forgot to say - thanks to Bioware for the update.  I hope that Bioware is withholding some information for updates, so that they have insurance in case Bioware testing has a bad week with no testing successes to report that week.

An empty weekly update might result in venomous swooping ... and we all know that swooping is bad.

Can you please correct the CLA_data (class data) 2DA being read sequentially (which is not by design and has been acknowledged as a bug)? That is a big impediment for custom class creation.

So there is awakening bug fixes too. Are the origins and awakenings bugs being fixed in the same patch or seperate?

I just want to say thank you for updating us on this, and that the blackblade gloves and boots are missing from the game. Thanks for updating us. :)

I am wondering if they will fix this in the patch as well.

I'm very glad to hear about this. It might be nearly time for that second Awakening playthrough I've been thinking about...

It'll be funny (but not really surprising) if they bundle the next patch up with a new DLC that requires you to pay for it.

Has Bioware ever charged for a patch by bundling with DLC? What makes you so sure that Bioware would do this?

I didn't say they were going to do this. I simply said that I wouldn't be surprised if they did do it. (given their recent track record with EA.)
