They should do, anyway. What I believe it means is their post-Joining personal quest, which doesn't always trigger. I didn't get Sigrun's, as an example.AtomRobot87 wrote...
Does this mean they'll also go thru the joining even if you get sigrun or velanna last and the attack is about to begin?Anders, Sigrun and Velanna's personal quests will properly activate.

'nuff said.
I have heard that if you update your .net framework to 4,0 should fix the most of the problem.

What i would like to see is a patch that fixes most of the issues reported in the forums. If it takes a month or 2 months so be it but if all major and minor bugs are fixed , then we wont have to see 100000 redundant threads about the same thing in this forums....all you would have to do is dust off.
That is why i highly recommend looking at the mods and what they do to the game. If they fix tons of issues then Bioware can look into this and incorporate them in the new patch.
It is worhtless to make a small patch because people will start to complain again and we will have to go thru all the nasty times again.
better try to clear 90% percent of well documented issues right now then just trying to do 50% to make a small bunch of impatient fans happy and then again have them put you on trial and blame you for not doing anything for another 7 months all over again.
I have waited..i can wait some more....as long as they inform us of what is going on and "really" go for the grand slam this time...i wont have nothing to complain about!
nuff said for now!

The framerate slowdowns are getting annoying as I get further into the game with more monsters.
No way the PS3 version should be worse than the X360 when the PS3 has more powerful hardware.
Please FIX!!!!
For the developers, here is a nice list of bugs in your games:

I don't want to start some sort of petty console war. The fact is, however, that the PS3 is not "more powerful" than the Xbox 360 - not to say that the 360 is more powerful than the PS3. Both have strengths and weaknesses. For example, the PS3's processor has several smaller cores that can be dedicated to completing small tasks in parallel; this can be used to offload tasks from the graphics card, do AI or audio processing, etc. However, to counter this, the PS3 has a less powerful graphics chip than what's in the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 also tends to be easier to develop for because of its DirectX-style functionality, easy compatibility with existing APIs, and decreased emphasis on multi-threading.Scott Tenorman wrote...
I HOPE that all these fixes will be incorporated in a patch for PS3 as well??

Developers can achieve near-identical results across both the PS3 and Xbox 360, but it requires a lot of work, especially as often identical-looking games can require vastly different code under the hood. Since its release, the PS3 has shown that dedicated developers can achieve things on par with or better than what's available on the Xbox 360, but it's taken a lot of research and experience to get that far.
Regarding Dragon Age, the PC version of the game was developed first, with the console ports being given to Edge of Reality (possibly with BioWare there for advisement and quality control). The fact is that PC code transfers over to the Xbox 360 much more easily than the PS3, due to how similar the platforms are. Edge of Reality likely didn't have the time or budget to retrofit Dragon Age to the PS3's hardware in a way that could give the same level of detail or performance as what's possible in the Xbox 360 version. Could it be better? Absolutely, but don't expect a simple patch to fix things - it'd likely take months of development effort and a rewriting of a lot of the game's underlying code, something that the budget and manpower just isn't able to provide so long after release.

On the other hand, I have a question for Bioware.
Will the bugs with the Sentinal gear be fixed? I have come to realise that the "Wardens Keep" armor has taken over the details on the chest piece of the sentinal gear, also, the "Vigilance" One hand and two handed sword looks like "Starfang", this too is from "Wardens Keep". I presume the "Vigilance" sword is supposed to look different, may i ask if that too is to be fixed? If not, how can i uninstall "Wardens Keep"?
By the way i run Dragon Age on PS3.

But that's why, ideally, there should be a patch team for each platform...

How much of each team would overlap? I really don't think they need people on each team to handle game data file issues (gda files, scripts, etc.) or DLC issues (those are generally game data file issues that modders can't fix directly), since those are the same (to a point) for all supported platforms. That leaves engine fixes, and often those are cross-platform as well.

Because there are specific issues of each platform, i.e. corrupted saves in 360; memory and audio in PC, fps in PS3, ideally they should work in parallel, they do not overlap, since every fix is specific translated or ported to each platform... plus, the patch team should be in charge of the delivery in each platform.. I mentioned ideally because if the teams are serialised, say, game patch team, then 3 delivery patch team in each platform, if there is a problem, game patch team say they fixed the bug but for some strange reason it doesn't work in 360, so, they need to find the solution, consuming time... despite the source is one, it has to be adapted to each platform... they do not overlap, their task could, but not the way they resolve the issue...

I can't speak for the PS3, but on the PC, you can disable any DLC or mods without having to uninstall them. Go to (if its the same) Downloadable Content>Installed Content tab and click the checkmark by WK to disable it.
Hope that helps..
