I have had the same problem. I also tried creating several female elf mages and as soon as I complete my harrowing they are referred to as if they were male humans, I also tried a female Dalish elf rogue ad had the same result. I am running the steam DDE version on Windows Vista 64. This did not happen with my first character that I created ad finished the game with a Male Dwarf Noble.

I have used the tool set to create some items and put them in game. I tried turning off the module I created and it still happened with new characters even when i did not load my module.

It's very possible that the core overrides that were exported have still caused a mismatch. There appears to be a known issue with the toolset where flags are being set incorrectly due to some mismatching with the exports. Even if you only exported stuff for your module, it's still very possible that exports to packages\\core\\override are being run. Try deleting all of the files in "toolsetexport" of that folder (and make sure that your modules\\SinglePlayer\\override is empty as well).
Refer to the first post for a quote from Bryan for more details if you need more information, or post a reply here (I don't have the game at home so it'll be a bit harder for me to walk you through step by step though).
Let me know if you have any questions.
Allan

Ahh that seems to have fixed it at least for the huma noble origin. Don't have time to play through the harrowing again right now. Many thanks Allan.

Cool I'm glad it works fine for you now.
Hopefully we can get the toolset issues resolved quickly!! :S
Take care.

Hi Allan - this is a known symptom of the toolset plot GUID bug, which we've mentioned before in the toolset forum. Maybe it should be on a sticky somewhere?

Had a bug where my elf female mage was recognized as a male, found out it was one of the .dazip mods causing it, was either dalls-chainmail, Shadows of telia or arcane scale armour
