Is it true that Tali has loved the Commander since the moment they met. I don't remember her saying that and i've beaten the game a lot of times lol.

Should'nt you ask this in the Tali support thread? I dont think she did from the very beginning they meet, but sometime through ME yeah (that's just speculation ofcourse) She dosent actually realy say.

She has feelings for him; that's for sure. But she's too shy to admit it, unlike Liara, for instance.

Anyway, go to the Tali thread and post your question in there. Someone With Mass will welcome you with an open hand. :-)

I think she developed feelings for M!Shepard in ME1, but I don't think it was love. I think if your Shepard admits feelings for her, that's the point/around the point where she really loves him.

She alludes to having feelings that go back to ME1. Talks about "watching him for so long." Saw what he went through with Feros and when he had to sacrifice someone at Virmire. It's during one of their post-loyalty mission engine room talks if you show interest.

Don't bother going into the Tali thread, your question will get buried in a few seconds.

If you do her romance she lists some reasons, she'd be interested in you and it appears she was mighty impressed from the moment you rescued her.

In ME1, Shepard treated her like a normal person, not like some exile or unwanted baggage.

Tali always considered Shepard a friend since (s)he saved her, and as things progress so did her feelings.

Go to the Tali thread to ask things like this... there is no need to make a new thread about it. If it gets "lost" in the thread posts then maybe the Tali thread needs to have Woo go in there and remind them to stay on topic again.

Forget being on-topic, how about a reminder that threads are not supposed to be used as a chatroom?

It's a blatant retcon that is never actually alluded to in ME1 and then handwaved in ME2.

One man's blatant retcon is another man's well-kept personal secret.

No I meant in ME2 she alluded to have had feelings for him that developed in ME1. I never said that she said anything during the course of ME1.

Nah, it was a retcon to please Talimancers, they just don't want to admit it. Devs said they never thought people would like Tali so much

And half the forums seems to have developed a grudge against Bioware after ME2. I think I'll stick with "personal secret". Maybe I'm just a simulationist at heart.

I don't know why people complain about others liking a character or wanting their character in the game. Its not like they left characters out or denied people choices...

Really? Things that develop gradually over time have to automatically be a retcon?

I'd hardly call "isn't even alluded to in the vaguest sense or noticable no matter how hard you look at it in ME1, but then continually present in the vast majority of her dialogue even if you're not romancing her in ME2" gradual.

Someone keeping feelings to themselves for 2 years seems pretty gradual to me...

"So then she says 'Oh, you're with Cerberus now. I don't trust them. They can be manipulating you.'"
"I'm telling you, this is why you shouldn't date Alliance."
"So then I had to explain that I wasn't working for them, we were just looking into the colony attacks together. Completely wouldn't believe me."
"Not to mention you were dead! How can she be so insensitive? You deserve someone who trusts you. Someone who is going to treat you right."
"Oh, I think I'm just going to stop dating for awhile."
"No, don't do that! Don't let some Alliance stooge spoil you!"
"It's always the same thing. Oh, he's a Spectre. He's infallible! I wonder what he looks like under all that N7 armor!"
"You'll find someone out there who cares about you for who you are. Someone who will even go on a suicide mission with you, even."
