Modazipin 1.0

Even though I have the game for PS3 as well I'm not going to buy Awakening there. I want it for my Mac, so as long as there's hope for that, BioWare is not getting more of my money (and neither is Transgaming).
Btw, both Dragon Age and Transgaming has twitter pages. It might be another way to give them feedback, though I doubt they'll answer. Be polite, please.
Now, on to the good part. I've decided to release Modazipin 1.0, although the testing has been a bit limited.
New features:
• Redisigned user interface
• Possible to install offer dazips
• Unknown items found in the packages folder are listed and can be disabled/enabled.
• Can override required game version check.
Not a huge list but some of them are quite nice. The files are available at the usual places:
BioWare Project page
Dragon Age Nexus
Launchpad page
Mini-FAQ:
Will this let me play Return to Ostagar?
Yes! That is to say, it worked for me. But please remember that Modazipin comes with absolute no warranties.
Will this let me play Awakening or Darkspawn cronicles?
No. Those requires updates to the main game files, something Modazipin can not do.
Do you have any recommended addins?
Well, there is the list of BioWare addins here.
I also enjoy Helm removal and The Icons Project.

First of all I have to join everyone else in expressing how annoyed I am that there's been absolutely no news about the Mac version of Dragon Age. I've been away on vacation for one month and spent another one playing Final Fantasy 13, which is why this release has taken so long, but when I come back still nothing has changed.

My only concern: Do I need to remove the old version, then install the new one? I have a lot of mods installed and don't want to reinstall all of them again (if this is the case).

You replace the Modazipin program file, but all your addins will remain in the same state as before.
I might've found a bug that if you install RtO using Modazipin you have to disable and enable it once for it to start working, but that's the only issue I know of atm.

i just wanted to say Thank You, again for creating this VERY useful tool; the new version is just beautiful!
I just installed RTO and will play it later to see if it works properly for me.
