Actually I think that Vampire dance moves are... adequate. You're walking into the Asylum, psychodelic music, dark corners and some kind of... primal-electro dance :P
It really makes you want to bite someone.

This game does something scary with my mind. After playing for few hours I felt really thirsty when I saw a human neck.

I think Bloodlines is perhaps the only game that has scared me in my adult life. It's not one of those cheap thrill kind of scares either. The game just has a pervading sense of dread. Some of the scenery combined with the creepy music and sound effects really makes for a downright unsettling game.

You should attend a Vampire Live session when a masquerade takes place. Basically everyone who plays Vampire Live in the country attends, and it's more fun when they invite friends who have no idea what the hell is going on, and try to play unnoticed. It's like stepping into a Blade movie. Without the gallons of blood flowing.

The friggin seaside hotel...

anywho. Another great game of the late Troika, sadly the game did follow the Troika tradition. Great story and over all good game - just a bit buggy.

The power of D&D licensing over White Wolf, I suppose. I still can't believe a much buggier, less inspired game like Temple of Elemental Evil sold more. Despite Bloodlines being of higher quality, it was Troika's poorest selling effort. I don't think they ever breached 80,000 copies in those early months when sales matter most.

World of Darkness is one hell of a setting (pun intended). Vampire the masquerade: Redemption isn't bad either.

If you are an RPG fan and won't play this within the next month i'll haunt you in your sleep.

I'll have to haunt you for not playing it sooner.

The abandoned hospital was creepy but when those mouth/feet fleshthings started to appear all over the mansion I freaked out, and the sewers were a pain in the arse.

I wanted to try Nosferatu but I kept being discovered or got lost in the sewers so I gave that up

Toreador I think (the artsy pretty vampires that get bonus to seduction) ftw.
Also: Install the "save heather" mod before playing, or you're a heartless bastard.

For what would I need a mod? I had Heather in my haven the whole time. Posted Image

And I also played as a Toreador, she looked damn sexy in the heavy leather outfit. =P

And it's okay to haunt me in my dreams.. The voices will kill you...

It might have been changed with a patch or something recently but she would canonically be dead if you didn't kick her out before the final part of the game...or if you downloaded the mod that saves her.

Same here aside from the AvP-games with it's constant threat of instant-death facehuggery I would have to say that it's the only game that's scared me in my adult life, especially the abandoned hospital where that cannibal-lady lived. Didn't work the second time over however, once you know when everything triggers and what's being triggered it stop being scary.
