The little girl from Orzammar who goes to be a mage. That would be cool to kick ass with a 12 year old girl, add insult to injury.
That would be awesome, but there would need to be special taunt just for her. After the battle is over or she delivers the killing blow she should yell "you got your ass whipped by a little girl biotch!"
I like the Grand Old Oak from Origins because well it is a rhyming tree that will not attack me, see what i did there?
I like the stuttering private who gives you messages in Awakenings, becuase she is all flustered in a cute kind of way.

She doesn't go to be a mage, that isn't possible. And what makes you think she's a child? There's nothing to suggest that.

Fergus Cousland. Sexy and funny. A pity you can only ever know him as your brother.Drudgep wrote...

Ahh Dagna, she goes to study the theory of magic, writes some papers on it. I would take a guess she's in her mid to late teens ..for the story.

And in every playthrough...no matter how many times i've hearded it it's still fun...The two chantry ladies in Denerim....I mean they are awesome.!!!
Yeap i mean Sister Theohild and Mother Perpetua.
* Sister Theohild "The Veal holds no uncertainty for her, and she will know no fear of death, for the Maker shall be her bacon and her shield, her foundation and her--"
* Mother Perpetua: "There is no veal in the Chant! <beat> You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?"

But for real favorites...how can you not love Wade and Herren? Those two make me smile every time I see them. Plus Carroll, the templar who guards the way to the Circle.
Carroll: "Oh, a Grey Warden treaty! So you're supposed to be one of those. Well, I've got some papers too! They say I'm the Queen of Antiva! What do you have to say to that?"
Warden: "Aren't queens female?"
Carrol: "Don't question royalty!"

As for foes, my favourite NPCs have to be Arl Howe and Vaughn. I can't even begin to describe how I hate them, they're THAT good...

the most intriguing and interesting character, and I adore her nasty
wit. ../../../../images/forum/emoticons/love.png Alistair
bloody deserves every wicked jibe he receives from her, being such an
indecisive wimp. And Claudia Black's acting is awesome.
Shale and Zevran tied for a second place, Both being rude and offensive, but it is a cover for something deeper. Especially I love Shale's transformation, and the voice acting (I forget the name of the actress) is simply awesome. It's a shame that the actor playing Caireddin (sp?) isn't very good, that takes something out of the meeting between Creator and Creation.
Of pure NPC's... uh... the mage in the closet? The bandit-leader outside Lothering?
No, in seriousness, I think Arl Howe and Branka are my favourites, followed closely by Loghain. Great villains, all of them. The best of the good guys is Shani, I think.
