I'm currently doing a run through and marrying Anora for the first time, should be interesting.

I did too. Personally I think it's the more sensible choice to go with Anora. She has the better qualities of leadership and experience. Alistair has....nothing much going for him. He tags along with the Warden the whole game...never leading anything and seemingly having no desire to do anything but follow others.

To be fair, there is a world of difference between "hardened" and "unhardened" Alistair as King. His whole attitude to being king is completely different. Sure, he needs the PC help put a litle spine in him, but he can definitly learn if you do harden him.

I still think Anora is a stronger candidate as ruler, but I can see the good things in Alistair as ruler too, at least when he is hardened. Anyone playing an elf character would probably see Alistair as the ruler who us most likely to treat elves with compassion and fairness.

Anora has the visions that can make Ferelden strong in the future, but Alistair will bring peace and justice in the present. Take your pick...

un-modded, I'd say Anora is the best looking female character in the entire game.

Anyway, I'm down for melting the Ice Queen. Did it to Morrigan. Waded through Leliana's preachy nonsense to win her affection, if ANYONE could get Anora, it'd be the MHN!

She also looks nothing like Loghain, which I find odd.

Spend months trying to melt the ice-queen? No thanks, I always leave that for Alistair. I have more important things to do, like kill stuff and kill some other type of stuff.

And I agree that she is one of the best looking female characters in the game (wouldn't necessarily say THE best, though), but by the time she becomes an option, chances are you're already spoken for.
