I can't help but notice that all the creatures I create switch from their low poly/low resolution texture model to the high resolution one at a very low distance. If you're walking towards them with the camera over the shoulder, it's impossible to not notice it. For normal sized creatures, I can actually get close enough that they're on the screen from a top down perspective and still not have them change to the high res version. While my testing hasn't been very scientific, I can't see this happening to the creatures in the Single Player campaign. Am I just unobservant, or is there an issue here? This happens even in very 'bare bones' areas with not a lot going on.

It happens at close distance in the regular campaign as well (although i think it may be somehow related to the size of the level) But if you experiment by issuing the "hold" command and then moving away from your companion you can notice easily when the switch happens, it seems to be at ~20 m distance tops.
