i've established a stand alone mod, to test the armors that i made, but when i enter it, they arn' coloured the way i set them in the toolkit, can anyone help? in every stage of the toolkit they appear with the colours i want, even when i placed them into the area, the appeared with the right colours, but when i go ingame, they go to defult colours. whats going on and how do i fix it?
again, a question.

i've used the textures that pre exsist, for example, i used the clothing girl 3 texture on a massive armor peice, colouring it green, but in game it's just defult grey

those textures are mapped into different models, might be the problem, generally this happens when textures are not imported into the game properly, might as well be the wrong name of the .mmh .mao, or something similar

i'm relitivly new to the modding, i've only managed to get this far thro stumbling around with tutorials, but they don't cover armour creation, i'm completely in the dark as to how to do it propperly, all iv'e done, is created new item, changed it to massive armour, then set materialtype to clothing girl 3, saved it, given it to my creature, and placed the creature into the mod.

ok I think itll be the girl clothing material cant be applied on massive armor then, probably just something with toolset

well, i tried with the material type armor hardened leather, which looks practically the same, but i got the same problem

well its massive armor, so probably some kind of metal would be more suitable

yeah, looks like i may have to drop that armor idea then, the whole point of it was that it was crafted from a group of emeralds that i place in game, like the golem shell armor in awakening.
