As for the rest, they sorta set up for some flings or LI's with minor characters in  ME2, so we shall see what happens with that.

No. New. LI. Characters. Not even new squadmates unless they replace plot-critical characters who died in ME2.

I'm open to the idea of new LIs, assuming they actually add something to the story.

New LI's could never be a bad thing. In fact, let's scrap the rest of the game and make ME3 a dating sim.

But seriously, I like to see new LI's with every game. It just offers more choices in addition to sticking with any old options.

I would bet 1000 bucks that there will be new LIs in ME3, I really think it's a no-brainer. It's a bioware game guys, really.

Probably Shiala, Parasini, Udina and Anderson. If you manage to have 3 different LI's over the trilogy you get the "w****monger" achievement.

I can just see Al-Jihani the LI masochist. For your LI romance scene you take out the leather and whip.

Udina and Anderson? No..  Just No. Shiala definietely. She will probably turn out to be the new queen Thorian though. Her turning green could be the Thorian's cacoon stage. Parasini? Maybe..I doubt it though, but I admit she's the next logical character.

I would like to think that most if not all of ME2's squadmates will be back for ME3 and the same can be said for Ashley/Kaiden and Liara, adding more squadmates to that list would probably do more harm than good to ME3. I would prefer it if Bioware concentrated more on quality rather than quantity when it comes to ME3 squadmates. I want more better charcter development, more dialogue options, more converstations, more meaningful romances and steamier sex scenes. adding more characters into the mix means that Bioware will proably spread themselves too thin and drop the ball somewhere along the line.

My thoughts exactly.  Since this will be the last time we'll be seeing this group of characters, I want BioWare to focus all their attention on them and not worry about adding in more.
