I've been all through Caridin's Cross and talked to every one in Ozzimare and I still can't get to Ortan Thaig. I have the quest that tells me to go there but its not on my map. What do I have to do exactually?

I think you normaly just have to go through and use the southern exit. Nothing special to do (if i remember correctly). If you've done this already, i'm afraid you're suffering from a bug. Try to reload and do this section again.

To get to Ortan Thaig, you must exit through the southern most point from Caridin's Cross. Part of the highway leads down to it. You will have to study the map and find the cave passage way that leads you out to the highway at the bottom.

The map for Caradin's Cross will show the Ortan Taig exit point as the southern-most exit but it's labelled incorrectly - saying Deep Roads instead.

If you have Oghren in the party he'll tell you when you are near the right exit
