Alright, I just now beat the second general with the assitance of the redcliffe troops, and that dragon (presumably the archdemon) destroyed my bridge back to the market. Okay thats all great who cares. Now as I advance to the other side after collecting my reward from scared elf lady and there is nowhere for me to go. It hurts to ask a question here becuase ive managed all game without help but ive been runing around this area (the elves alienage general is where i got stuck) all day trying to figure out how to get out. I cannot click on anything but the giant tree (landmark) and the Market-which i cant reach. Can I get some advice on if theres a way out of this hell hole? IF its blatant and im being mental, just say yes-theres a way out, if somethings wrong and i need to use a earlier load (ugh the one i have is right before i entered Denerim) please let me know.

If you continue past the tree there should be a gate which you will have to pass. Look at the map (press M) to see any icons telling you where the exit is or where you haven't been yet. See if that helps you?

there is nothing on the map but the marketplace entrance and the tree. looks like im gonna have to load once i get off work.
