Maybe I'm slow or something, but I spent a lot of time on the bridge puzzle in the gauntlet. Out of frustration I went and made a full diagram of it. Thanks Bioware, you actually made me draw up a diagram of the damn thing. Here it is for people that need help and want to work it out themselves.

Hehe good work. Luckily I figured it out rather fast so it didn't pain me so much, but I heard some people have probably starved to death in there waiting to figure it out.

In the last area of the Urn of Sacred Ashes, there's a puzzle where you have to make a bridge appear. Two characters have to stand on separate switches, and the bridge is built in pieces. As soon as the main character stands on a piece, it becomes permanent, so you really don't need a diagram. Just have the mc stand at the start, walk character A over the switches on the right until the first brick appears, walk character B over the switches on the left until it becomes permanent, walk mc out onto the brick, and repeat the process.

Now, what happened after that...well...I'm still working on it. Let's just say it was a mistake to take two characters who would get extremely pissed off at my actions. I'm heading back to camp now to swap them out for more...morally flexible individuals.

I'm a goodie-two-shoes, but wanted to try out what happened after that. I too had the two with me that get a little mad... Am I glad my 'real' choice doesn't ****** them off.

Awww, this is what I don't like about the internet. Totally invalidates iq tests in games.

the bricks don't become permanent when the MC walks out on them for me, so this diagram was helpful!

There is multiple solutions to this puzzle than what you people posted. I did something different than what's posted here.

Same. Solved it with a different combination. But again, just test out the various results a bit... and you can have it solved quickly providing you're thinking straight. Of course the diagrams help for those that were/are utterly confused.

When I did this puzzle I checked each spot for which squares they lit up, wrote them down on paper and did the obvious combination.Took me 10-15 minutes or so I don't remember but I really liked this puzzle, wish more games had fun ones like it.

I didn't have at any problem at all.. since i saw when you step on one, it appears but you arn't able to step on it so i figured if i did the same to the other side, it would be solid. Just did that and was done with it in about 2 minutes.

It doesn't stay solid when the mc steps on it. As soon as someone moves the mc gets transported back to solid ground

Doesn't seem to be a combination...

All I did was hit a sqaure that solidifies the brick one at a time. If you stand on a brick that highlights a part of the bridge it will have a ghostly image. Stand on another and it will make a static sound and become solid. Then I used my MC to walk on it and stand there while I found a brick that would make the second part of the bridge solid so to speak. Just repeat it until all four are "solid". Your party will follow you once you step off the last section of the bridge. Then it's nakey time.

I didn't need to memorize anything, I just set two characters on each of the buttons on the right that make two pieces of the bridge each appear, and ran another character across the buttons on the other side back and forth until it was solid.

The diagram was way more complex than the puzzle

The puzzle in question differs depending on the platform you are playing on.
