lol, what a bunch of children. An EA Spokesperson goes out of his way to confirm that ME3/DAO II will NOT be appearing at E3 and yet when indeed what he says DOES come true, people complain.

Well, I'm still hoping there's going to be something hinting at more ME2 content upon the release of Overlord tomorrow.

If there's anything worth complaining about E3, the obese guy in this video sums it up in one line:

"...And experience an enthralling storyline!"

You used to be one of us. :(

:P Oh come on, when a company says "We will not be showing any ME material at E3" it's just customer conceit to call them Liars, or say "what a failure EA!!"

They just barely released ME2. ME1 was out for more than an entire year before we saw ME2 at E3, right?

:P Just sayin', to bad mouth a company on their own forums is one thing, but to bad mouth a company when they didn't show what they said they weren't going to show is kind of...silly :P

People need to remember: DA and ME weren't at EA's press briefing last year either. It was just a trailer for TOR. E3 hasn't even officially started.

If I had to wager a guess, I'd say at the bare minimum we'll get some DA news. There IS something DA related coming out in February, if the insert that came with Awakening is still accurate. So I can't see them leaving E3 without at least announcing something.

As for ME, maybe another DLC announcement? We're getting new content tomorrow so they might want to drum up interest in that by announcing the next piece of content.

I think this E3 will be heavily focused on TOR, which makes sense. It's the only full game that Bioware has officially announced that they're working on. Despite the fact that it likely won't even be out by the time E3 2011 comes around (IMO) they had to bring something to the show to be their focus. An expansion/DLC/whatever wouldn't cut it (unless they plan to announce DA 2, which I highly doubt).

I wasn't expecting ME3 myself. More like hoping to see something about it.

I really don't expect ME3 news and no one else should...they said they weren't having this (and it's way too soon).

I would like some news on future ME2 DLC projects, however.

The original trailer 'Deceit' was awesome... a year ago. Putting out another one with a minimal (IMO) content update at this stage in the game is a pretty depressing fluff piece.

Well they relelased ME2 demo (4 months after release, wut?) and the story so far compilation today, I rest my case.

Atleast we made an Epic thread, that's something!

The thing is, that there are ME and DA projects slated for early next year (around the same time Dead Space 2 is set to come out).

I was kinda hoping for the reveal of those (who are most likely not ME3 or DA2).

Also, I totally missed that EA spokeperson thing... if I had I might have as well skipped today's conferences

Myself, I would have preferred a Bioware only keynote, but hey, I was happy with what we saw.

I'm willing to be we'll get some post-ME2 story DLC tidbits. What's going to be happening and such. Maybe the same for DAO.

KoTOR might reignite my MMO obsession. :-)

Correction. They didn't sey they're not showing anything ME3 or DAO2 related. They said Gamespot made a mistake listing those games under EA on their floor plan. We can still hope for something, but I thought there was only small chance we'd get something so I'm not disappointed.

What pissed me off the most is that they spent way too much time talking about The Sims 3 which is out already.

EA's press conference was weak. They showed nothing I was interested in: neither ME3, this mysterious Mass Effect project, OR Rock Band 3.

I take that back: they did have that totally sweet cinematic from The Old Republic. :D

EA's presentation was quite boring if you asked me. The only thing a bit interesting was the new ToR cinematic, but I had already seen it hours before the press conference because it was leaked.

Eh, E3 will never be the same since they decided to scale it down. PAX seems to have bigger announcements/exclusives nowadays.

I will say the Old Republic cinematic was extremely good.

I get depressed when I realize how much better Bioware writes SW in their sleep than the people actually in charge of writing it.

Sony's probably gonna milk motion controls just like Microsoft is doing. Nintendo will probably surprise us. I've heard the show is two hours long which is plenty of time for some cool new announcements. There's a rumor that Retro (the studio that developed Metroid Prime) is making a Donkey Kong game. Also, The Legend of Zelda will be pretty exciting. And let's not forget the 3DS, a handheld with glasses free 3D and the graphical power of a Wii. For a handheld that's very powerful. Just like the DS in 2005 there is probably an amazing feature that they haven't revealed yet. They said that the DS would have a dual screen but they only revealed during the show that it has a touchscreen which is its most important feauture. I'm curious about what we don't know about 3DS yet.

I'm hoping for a new Nintendo console but it's too soon. Maybe we'll see something next year. Nintendo has to realize that graphically more capable consoles have caught up with motion controls and now Nintendo needs to counter this with horse power because Microsoft and Sony said they don't want to end this generation yet.
