That's what I sort of assumed. Didn't seem anything that new to me.

I think Sony did just play a very good card though. $50 for Move? Bleedin' 'eck.

I figured this would be the response and it's utter nonsense. It is only $50 for move if you already have the camera, if you don't, you need to buy the bundle for $100. If you want the rest of your family to play, assuming there are 3 other people in your house, that's another $150, and I could be wrong but I seem to recall things like archery requiring multiple controllers, so if you want everyone in your house to get the full functionality of the device, you're looking at around $450 and you still only have one game. Kinect on the other hand seems like it will come out of the gate allowing multiple users for about $150. Sony threw up a lot of smoke with that price reveal, I just hope most people aren't going to get caught by it.

RB Pro Mode looks as good (and sounds as good) as anticipated now lets hope those new peripherals don't cost as much as an Xbox 360!

$50 for controllers was already standard. They're pricey with the hardware over at Sony. For that kind of money, they had better come up with some seriously awesome motion sense games. Otherwise it's never going to be anywhere near worth it.

$50 for a controller is standard, but you'd think they would at least throw in two with the bundle so you can play with one more person, or get the full experience for yourself assuming some games will require the use of a controller in each hand.

It is? My apologies, I must have missed that bit of information.

Sony did what they could to rush past that bit of information and something tells me the headline once the dust settles is going to be "Kinect $150, Move only $50*"

*Assuming you already have the camera, only want to play by yourself and possibly only be able to play certain games, and don't care to have any actual games to play

New Zelda New Kirby New Golden Sun New Goldeneye New Donkey Kong Country? Nintendo wins E3

Yeah, if you're in the 8-14 age demographic.

*Snickers under breath* Nintendo needs some more games for other people than just diehard Nintendo fans. (Please don't start listing all of the Wii's good third party games, I have a Wii and I know there are good games). I hope the new "Wii HD" thing that was talked about a few days ago gives us some competiton for the 3rd person shooters and rpg's on the PS3 and 360.

Nintendo needs more 3rd party support. The Wii isn't as powerful thus 3rd party developers tend to ignore it. Nintendo needs new IPs. They just keep rehashing the same old franchise. I would have preferred that they at least showed Pikmin 3 since it's apart of a new IP.

Still, one thing they've done that I've seen no other game company do is make 3D accessiful(sp?). I can see Sony trying to copy off of Nintendo and put 3D on their next handheld. 3DS is one of the things that impressed me so far this E3 and I would like to know more about it.

Have they shown the trailer for Saints row 3 yet? I heard it was supposed to be mind blowing.

Well, I was just skimming through news stories on D.toid and I saw "Move" pretty much next to "$50". So I put 2 and 2 together and got 3 ;)

The Wii is the console you need to have alongside your other console. With a 360 or a PS3 you're going to have access to 90% of the best versions of the best games, but the only way to get your hands on that other 10%, those awesome first and second party Nintendo games, you have to have a Wii. I would love the Wii to have better third-party support, but that would likely require a more powerful, and more expensive, system, which might just not be what Nintendo thinks is bet for their bottom-line. Whatever they've been doing thus far has certainly worked.

No idea, but I have to say I really liked Saint's Row 2.

I would have liked it more if the PC version actually worked well. Rather buggy :(

I heard about that. Damn shame, the PC doesn't get any respect anymore.

There is still the problem of purchasing expensive hardware or new TVs to make it work.

We don't need anything else ;)

I think the main negation was probably with steam i.e. we bring it to the ps3, you allow us to use steam. I think Microsoft forcing Valve to charge for content wasn't making them very happy. With Sony allowing them to use steamwork as a separate entity, they will be able to do stuff on the fly and most likely give Playstation 3 users additional content and updates more frequently with charging (X) amount of dollars. Aside from this, Valve also make money through steam itself, having the game use this on consoles (with the possibility to use cloud across multiple platforms) will be help valve reach another user-base with steam.#

The pc is the best platform, it's rather sad how much it gets neglected, I blame pirates and poor people.

The voice command is my favorite feature of the Natal/Kinect (whatever it's called). It would be cool if they incorporated it into war games to command a squad in real time, or something along those lines.

The problem I have with 3D is that I already start dealing with motion sickness from some first/third person games.  Playing them in 3D will be impossible for me without being drugged on bonine the entire time.

RTS capabilities with Kinect, you actually can feel like the real head commander and can shout orders to your troops

Hrm.  You know, I didn't consider that.  Kinect might actually make console RTS's not suck... you can just grab the units you want to select and move them all over, etc.  Hrm...

3D and Motion Sickness

Please someone make Descent for the 3DS :o:O:O

Seriously, the 3DS to me looks fabulous but as I found out, Super Mario 64 on it was giving me motion sickness.  A 3D Mario platformer on that damn thing would probably make me extremely dizzy and nauseous after awhile.
