I look at all of these using your whole body in the game, motion stuff and I have to say I like it. I'm not into sport games, and hate to exercise, but some of them looked fun. I want to do some of this stuff.

Kinect is a gimmick. I don't see that type of thing taking predominance over controllers any time soon. Especially when they want you to pay $150 for first gen tech.

If Mass Effect 3's scrog scenes are more interactive, then may be I could see a use for the Kinect, otherwise forget it.

I know. What's the point of the "new" 360? It has a bigger hard drive and built in wi-fi. That isn't what I was expecting at all. It just doesn't seem practicla to release something like that. Why not just start selling 250g hard drives?

The Wii is a full console though.  Kinect is just an acessory for a console that itself cost almost as much as a console.

Nice presentation by MS. I can honestly say that I have zero interest in buying into this "minority report" thing, I don't want to talk to an inanimate object, regardless of how responsive it might seem. I also have zero interest in the games for it.

The fitness aspect, however can be very interesting, albeit not from a full cardio perspective. It would be nice to get feedback on yoga poses and the like, for example.



Now I will comment something that people seem to be missing: Microsoft purposefully asked on stage more women than ever in any E3 conference. This is very interesting and should be taken note of, as we see the change of focus of one of the mayor players in the industry.

Is this new Xbox360 slim supposed to be smaller? Looking at it it looks exactly the same size as the regular Xbox360.

It is about an inch an a half sorter and a small fraction thiner, by the pictures I saw.

So it still won't fit on my damn shelf.  Oh well.

If the Kinect or whatever leads to the development of a new game like Time Crisis, then it might be worth it. I really miss using my old light guns on the TV. I wonder if they work with LCD screens...?

Ok, regardless of what I said before, Kinect on a 3D hdtv would be awesome.
