I agree completely (I do want to learn to dance why the game looks appealing to me and Harmonix normally does a good job picking a good soundtrack to a Rhythm Game)
Well the Star Wars game also looks like it will be the first "real" game for Kinect
Yeah and it could be great, but at the moment, it looks like a tech demo. Walk down the path, kill stormtroopers, walk more down the path, kill some droids, rinse and repeat. Of course if you can make me feel like I'm actually wielding a lightsaber, that might be enough.
Yeah, and normally I like Sony's offerings, but I'm not so impressed
with what they're showing just yet. I'm cautious with regard to the new
Zelda, but it's more of a true motion control game. Or at least that's
what's being claimed. You swing the controler, and the Link in the game
swings the sword the same way. That's a first with regard to a main game
play mechanic. Unless you count all those eye-games with video cameras.
Sorcery looked like that, as did the Star Wars game for Kinect. We got to go a lot more in-depth with Zelda, but it also had a lot more technical problems than what we saw with the other games. If it wasn't for Zelda being Zelda and obviously being great, I think I would be most impressed by Sorcery, which had a live demo that ran smoothly and looked intuitive.
