Umm....Garrus? Or a human like Garrus?
So if Sanders turns out to be similar to Garrus, if a bit fresh to the Reaper threat, and romanceable by MaleShep... that would suit you?

Can we start talking about potential male LI's now?
All right, I'll indulge. Who would be your perfect male LI in Mass Effect 3? Go.

2. That's a strawman argument.
Um, was he misrepresenting your position in order to attack it? No, he was simply disputing your "fanbase demands realism" premise. NOT a strawman argument. You need use words more gooder.
He took "realism" as I used on my post out of context and tried to use it to attack me. I made very clear that I was refering to realistic character interactions, moral choices and character development, while he threw aliens and laser beams into the mix. I'm not talking about the realism of the setting, but the realism of the characters.
You need to learn how to read.
Considering he was addressing the highly topic-relevant subject of romances and said nary a word about laser beams in the numbered point to which you were responding....yeah, the reading comprehension problem ain't mine.

3. Anyway, the reason "realism" isn't relevant to this discusison is a) this is a fictional universe involving an army of cybernetic Cthulhu's, andyour own perception of reality seems to be coloured by a strictly heteronormative point of view.
Nobody here is saying that everyone in the world is ******/bisexual (nor have I seen anyone suggest that all potential love interests be), but your own angle seems to be that barely anyone is.
If the possibility of several characters being bisexual undermines ones suspension of disbelief, one is operating on some fairly outdated software.

ME3 is not the game to make any major romance changes, ME1 had the chance to do that and they made their decision. The characters need to stick to their previous characters, like Kaidan admiring women obviously when he talks about the girl in biotic training and how good looking Liara is, or Garrus talking about the romance he had with a turian female. Maleshep shows no interest in the same sex, only females or chooses not to due to the mission.
For these characters to magically show sudden interest in the same sex at the drop of a dime makes no sense. Why would Kaidan or Garrus hit on me all of a sudden and not before? Were they hiding it? That's the only plausible reason and it makes no sense, these are bad **s soldiers they make quick decisions and aren't afraid to speak their mind about anything. I don't see the council and others as homophobes. ME3 characters will stay the same, gay romances were cut out of ME1, to introduce them now is beyond silly and Bioware would not make such a ridiculous decision.
You guys need to ask for same sex romances in their next RPG series, not at the very end of a Trilogy where the majority of the characters are obviously straight. There is no need for them to publicly declare their sexuality, it's quite obvious from previous dialogue that pretty much the majority of characters are straight. The men don't have to say they're straight, their dialogue pretty much sums up which way they swing and the same goes for the women.
Now all of them are possibly bi or gay? These people are mature soldiers who are not young anymore, they should have a good idea which way they swing, other wise it looks like lots of people have more than daddy issues.

As others had to establish many, many, many times before, this is a speculation thread. We don't expect a male LI to appear in ME3, we do certainly hope so as it's hard to ingnore a thread over a hundred pages that's lasted for almost year on the front page; and as to the rest of your comment, read the past ten or so pages.

2. It's not really relevant for this discussion, but you claim ME's fandom is "always demanding more realism"?
I thought any pretense of realism went out the window by the time we were allowed to make amorous advances towards other species rather than our own sex.
But if you want to talk about realism, wouldn't you think that sexual prejudice is likely to be virtually nonexistent by the 22nd century?
2. That's a strawman argument. Alien X human sex was still male X female. Males mate with females on every species that have reproductive urges, while homosexualism is not as common. I'm not saying it should not exist (you'd know that if you actually read what I wrote), but trying to impose something like "everyone is bi" is ridiculous.
