I'm very happy with the Liara romance. She particularly suits my first Shepard, my main Shepard. I went for her with my Renegade Shepard too as there just wasn't another option, other than being alone, but I don't feel they're quite the right match for one another. I wouldn't mind seeing one there who would suit her, like Aria, but I'm more than satisfied with the Liara romance in the game, as it is.

That's fine with me, just ship any surplus Ashley's you have to me!   If you have any spare Kaidan's they go to catabuca.

Also I would love Aria as a LI.  But onlyif  you have to deliever the head of Kai Leng to her as a first date gift to romance her.

Ah, this brings up the issue of "choices" for people that like to RP gay/lesbian PCs.  Usually, we have none or one, and if you aren't too crazy about the one...too bad.   THIS IS WHY I LOVE DA2 AND THE FACT THAT WE HAVE A CHOICE FINALLY!

My Renegade Shep doesn't have much finesse, but at least she's direct! I think Aria would appreciate directness. Possibly not in such a callous way, but you never know.

My Paragon is a little more suave. If only a little. >.>

But yes choices please!  Frell if they made everyone bi like they did in DA2 (I don't think they will but if...) I would be spinning from all the choices!

I always thought that rule had more than one meaning otherwise I would've made an advance on her right then and there

It's certainly a possibility. Besides, my RenShep isn't interested in a one night stand anyway. She wants more than a fling, so technically it wouldn't be f*cking. So I think we're in the clear for that rule.

Ideally Kaidan, because of both the existing connection (Shep can even say "I miss him" to Kelly) and because I think his character makes the most sense. 

Also, to even have Kaidan in ME3 requires a bit of effort. Default ME2 games and (persumably) ME3 new games will have him dead on Virmire for a male Shepard. Apart from him, any new character would do nicely.

Grandpa studies at Seminary then leaves, later breaks arm riding alone on horseback in the wild (makes it back to civilization alone), next leaves home country, gets married, enters the USA, survives WWII because of said broken arm, works at US Steel as a Foreman for too many years, has kids, one of the kids has me, and then I'm posting on these forums;

On the subject of bamfs, seeing as though we get an awful lot of people who say "Shepard can't be gay, he's too bamf", may I introduce you to Gareth Thomas, bamf-extraordinaire, badass rugby player, hard as nails, tough as an old boot, wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley, etc., etc.
