By the way, it's an established fact that RamWo thrives on attention, any kind of attention. Sort of like Jenna Maroney on "30 Rock". So just be aware that by entertaining his "innocent questions", we are giving him what we wants. And yes, I know I'm doing it too.

It's fun, why not?

As long as we know we're doin' it, Jademoon, it's all in good fun. Sometimes I need a good facepalm too.

Once again, I have to stress that

Tali and Garrus becoming romanceable in ME2 =/= LIs being bi in ME3

@Cootie I am not opposed to homosexual content, just making current LIs bi or gay.

I like Ramírez Wolfen. That's living proof that at least I had some justification to take Ryzaki's posts seriously in that other thread a few days ago. There really are people like that.

What are you talking about, Siansonea? I don't thrive on attention. Does this mean we are going to start using insults now?

@jademoon121 Actually, I've heard that Tali was originally written as an LI in ME1, but it was scrapped

I have never heard that anywhere and no files, or dialogue exists in the ME1 game files that suggests that in any way shape or form. Where as Ashley and Kaidan both have dialogue recorded, and on the disc, that pertains to a romance with a same gendered Shepard. In fact with a simple Hex Edit you can trick the game into playing these files.

Pretty certain alot of people were probably against Tali / Garrus romances before ME 2 released due to consistency, what would you say to them?

How does Tali and Garrus not equal bisexual LIs? They're both fanservice! And who's saying that the current LI's are going over the border? James Sanders could be the bi LI, and even he wasn't and a current LI does jump borders, that doesn't lessen the game.

@jlb524

To me, Mass Effect has enough problems to the point where I'm already questioning the game and purchasing ME3. I don't want anything added to it.

Regardless of whether it was fan service or not (as ALL romances are fan service, just about everything is fan service), it doesn't equal making them bi in ME3.

Time changes people, characters are no different. I can remember a time when I thought all males were ugly, but I've since lightened up and can appreciate someone's good looks regardless of gender. The time from Me1 or 2 could change a character and realize they've got feelings forshepard regardless if they're male or female. Miranda is an OBVIOUS choice for being bisexual, since she has to learn EVERYTHING about Shepard, making it easy for her to possibly fall for them. Tali's romance is complete fanservice since she turns from a walking quarian encyclopedia to a Shepard stalker/fan girl without explanation!!!!!! Kelly's "the way she lights up when you walk into a room" line is like, um, she's wearing a helemt so you can't see her face, how do you know this! RETCON!!!! DEUS EX MACHINA!!!! PLOTHOLES!!! DO NOT WANT!!!! *presses eject button and destorys ME2 disc in a fit of rage*<-bet that didn't go through your mind sine the Tali fan base has been begging for her to be romance able because of hos her body is shaped. If it was base don character, it wouldn't ahve happened, since she says her people attacked the Geth first and got driven off their homeworld but it's the geths fault because they were getting smart. God forbid a sentient race of machines should become smart, let's attack them. oh no they were supreior and rebuffed our attacks, but it's their fault in the first place, no like we tried to negotiate first oh but have you seen my ass? doesn't it look so good???" non of the people seemed to have a problem with aliens, who aren't even biologically compatable with humans in the first place, becoming LI's but changing a character so taht they can be romancable by all players regardless of gender is bad? that's the lamest logic I've ever read.Posted Image

Where have I seen you say this before... oh yes, that's right, in all threads like this. :P

Oh well, I have to commend your dedication to your stance! But still, I don't see how it's any different. Perhaps you'd like to point out the differences for me. :)

@Nyoka People like "that"?

@adneate Which is why I said I "heard." I don't know whether it is true or not.

@Saeran What's done is done.

I guess I'm a troll of sorts because I disagree, judging by these posts.........

Yep and he repeats the same thing over in over in this thread and other homosexual content threads.  If he actually had more to offer than the Tali gets a free pass card, maybe he wouldn't appear like such an entitled troll.

Kaiden could love manShep because they've been through thick and thin through years of dedicated service and common woes, especially if Shep(like my Judas) is a biotic.

Garrus looks up to manShep, you can guide and change his views on justice and innocence. Maybe that teacher/student dynamic can become something more?

It's entirely possible for both these guys to jump borders if they're written and enacted will enough.

I'm not trolling, folks. I love how if someone disagrees they are viewed as either trolling or homophobic......

Look, I'm also saying that there is enough fan service, let's just stick with what we got (when it comes to current LIs sexuality).

@Jademoon121 I do not buy either of those.

Asking for a character not previously romanceable to be romanceable DOES EQUAL asking for a character not previously romanceable to be romanceable. Funny how 2+2 continues to equal 4, in spite of 'stressing' that it doesn't.

I don't think anyone has called you homophobic, so don't try using that. The point is what you are saying is a MASSIVE DOUBLE STANDARD. When you give up your Talimancing ways, then you can have a say on what is or isn't deemed worthy fanservice.

I'll admit, the biggest reason I argue for the Virmire survivor as a s/s LI is precisely because of continuity. I want that sense of carry-over - the established relationship - that those who chose Liara or o/s Virmire survivor might get in ME3. I mean, what does MShep know about Big Ben, or any other potential new crew member? The relative lack of getting-to-know-you character writing in ME2, and the cut-off you got if not romancing the character, doesn't make me hopeful for any kind of LI depth in ME3 without a previously established relationship (romance or not) from ME1 or 2.

If anything, people should be pointing to the fail-tacular implementation of the Tali romance as a reason NOT to make Ashley/Kaidan/Miranda/whoever a bisexual love interest. Funny how people aren't doing that. I wonder why.

Pfft you know asking someone to be bi is a extra mile it's unreasonable. More unreasonable than sleeping with a character that might die from the sex. :lol:
