Monogendered means "one" gender.
That one gender?
Female.
Why do we have to keep explaining this? D:
I guess he's right about one thing, they're not really bisexual. They're more omnisexual since they can mate with most things, whether they're defined by sex or not.
Ramirez, they're an all-female race. And it doesn't diminish your point of cheapening her character, since all Shepards still have access to her. Whether you agree with the definition of sex or not.

@Cootie I never said Liara is a cheap romance, as Liara is already available to both Shepards from the start.
Also, Liara isn't really bisexual, Liara is monogendered. I know she looks female, but doesn't the lore say that they are monogendered?
Tali and Garrus weren't, but you still don't seem to have a problem with that despite your stances.
The Codex desrcribes the Asari as "an all female race". They're monogendered all right.

Anyhoo, it doesn't cheapen it for me. Why? Because, to me, Liara is only romanceable to my Shepard. They are faithful to one another. Why should I care what happens in someone else's game?
Exactly! I agree with you on every point. I just wish people'd stop being so... entitled. Blah.

You could say the same about the Tali and Garrus romance. But that already happened. Mass Effect has enough problems already if you ask me, and adding to that list of problems would mess with my view of the game, hence ruining it even more for me.
I believe the bolded part says it all. To which I counter, not doing anything regarding s/s would mess with my view of the game, hence ruining it even more for me. See the flaw in the arguement?
Exactly.
HAH!
The correct answer to that question would be "Yes, yes I do."

Tali and Garrus weren't available to any Shepard from the start. Does that make them cheap?
Also, sex and gender aren't the same thing. Asari are sexually female, don't confuse the two. Liara pursuing both a male and female Shepard, when she is part of an all sexually female race, makes her bisexual.

Bisexuality is being attracted to persons of either sex. Are Asari attracted to persons of either sex?
Yes. Yes, they are.
Also, they are monogendered. They have one gender. That gender is female.

Are Garrus and Tali's romances cheaper than Ashely's and Kaidan's?
and as an overall post in this thread i support james sanders and unannounced possible new female squadmate as gay/bi romances!
but not established characters, that'd lead to bad writing and i hate bad writing!
new characters being bi/gay is cool though.

I actually explained my points a bit better in the thread I made. I will provide a link shortly. Note though, that the thread is 68 pages long, so it would take a while to read.
It would give you more credibility if you just summarised everything and explained yourself.
Having to provide a link to your opinion makes it seem very... lazy, and it removes some of your credibility and sincerity.

Anyway, it just goes to show how little the doctors and Hudson know about their own IP. All they're concerned about when saying those things are making excuses.

Ramirez, please excuse me for saying, but reposting your old posts from a previous thread isn't going to answer our very specific questions in the context of this thread. It would be far better if you could engage on a post-by-post basis with each person who is asking you questions, doing your best to explain your position and defend it.
Otherwise you are going to keep getting endless replies, just like this one, asking for clarification, again, and again, and again.
