ok people, whenever someone makes a post in here that isnt directly related to gay relationships then lets report them. youd have half the thread visitors banned in no time

and no i wasnt saying rape = romance, but they both involve making love so rape could be the ultimate renegade option whilst the paragon option could be that you fall in love with the said character

and makenzieshaperd, i hope you arent really this touchy and are putting it on for show. because i can imagine youre one of those people who when they hear the word "sex" or "drugs" or "abortion" youll pick the phone and call the cops then go hide under the bed

What would you think if Bioware made a smexy new male dude for ManShep to romance? I know a lot of people would like Kaiden, hell even I would make a Manshep and suffer through his voice acting for that; it'd be lovely. But seriously, what about a new guy?

Well, ignoring the weirdness of introducing new LI's at the end of a trilogy (even Indy went back to his first at Crystal Skull), that would be fairly neat. I'd also be for non-Asari female LI's for fem shep.

Folks, let's bear in mind that some (but not all) of the newcomers in the thread are not seriously trying to engage us in debate or actual conversation. Let's not forget, whenever a child wanders in here and is subjected to maximum ownage, flips out and gets himself banned, he is likely to "retaliate" by having his buddies come in here to cause trouble. Or try to. It happens all the time. The fallout from the fits of rage this type of person is prone to is certainly irritating, but let's not give them any gratification by actually taking what they say to heart.

Certainly don't take any of this rape nonsense seriously, or any of the other obvious trolling attempts. Report it and move on, and hopefully the entire litter of pups will be temp-banned for good measure. It'll buy at least a few days of peace and legitimate troll-free discourse.

I like the idea.  For femShep, she finally can get a guy squaddie that she can connect with, but just wants to be friends.  And my single manSheps can finally have a chance at romance.  Plus, I we've had characters that can't be romanced (like Zaeed, Grunt, Kasumi, Samara) by the opposite sex or otherwise... To the heterosexual Shepards, that's all that squadmate would appear to be. 

I dig it.

you'd think after being an ex wow player and dealing with THEIR forums I'd have gotten used to that, but ya know...some things just hit a bit too close to home ya?

That would rock.  I personally would prefer a male LI so Sanders is probably the most viable option.  While it's really to early to make such judgement his character doesn't sound very interesting.

I still think that the concept art everyone is assuming is Sanders from the Game Informer article is actually not Sanders. The illustration is contiguous with the "Enemies" section of the article, not in the image-free sidebar that discusses Sanders.

I don't really care about his looks or have much opinion on his backstory.  I just don't want them to play into stereotypes... or use cheezy lines like Jacob (not hating here, his lines work for some people... just not my Shepards).  I'd like a tough guy with an Australia accent....  kinda like Zaeed, only without all the BS.

Just a question, but if Bioware decides not to give us any s/s options (other than Liara and Kelli), would you be okay if they supported the modded romances?

What I mean by this is, if you modded a s/s relationship with an LI (Kaidan, Ash, Miri, Thane, Garrus, Tali, Jack, Jacob) and Bioware not only let you use that save file in ME3, but they also had the appropriate dialogue and cinematics recorded for it, would you be okay with it? Technically, it is still a mod because you had to mod your ME1 or your ME2 save file. However, if it worked seemlessly in ME3, would that be acceptable?

Welcome to the thread. 

I also support s/s romance but it won't happen in the ME series, they should have done it with the first one but didn't. They won't throw it in now for ME3. Future games need to allow us to select what romances we want in the game before we even start it.

I can see this being a decent comprimise of sorts,  but,  I'm not sure how other will feel about it.  It would be a cop out, but, at least it would allow S/S.
